It isn't particularly designed for eating in so atmosphere isn't really relevant. The food is good and so is the service usually.

Lovely little local fish and chips shops. Very fresh and cooked fresh to order. Lovely customer service Highly recommend!

Been coming here for many years & its always been hit n miss, my wife & i always order their potato scallops with our dinner as they were the best Ive had in my life, but the new owner (lovely guys i must say) has stopped making themselves & now purchases the scallops in instead of making home made ones. I phoned up to complain but no one answers the phone~? The fish actually tasted better than ever but please go back to home made potato scallops not the machine made garbage i bought last week or i wont be back & will go to VJ's seafood down the rd as their scallops are also home made.

Came here numerous times already (dine in, takeaways) whenever i visit the chemist.no issues with my experience, but i've never tried ordering online, lucky enough to always catch them at a quiet time though so

prices are alright, similar to carvery places.aside from the cod fish, my favorites are the sea scallop, prawn cutlet, and calamari looking forward to trying to vietnamese dishes next

The food is great and well cooked. My chips had the right amount of salt. Prices are also ok. Service is also quick and the couple running the place is nice. I would definitely go back here again.

Just be aware if you are planning to eat here that this place is mostly for takeaway as the store only has two tables.

Unfortunately not a good experience. We ordered $10 chips & 6 nuggets for the kids, 2 x steak sandwiches. Totalling $40!
The chicken nuggets were obviously made in house, which would normally be a great thing. However when we bit into it, it smelt off. We had to throw it out. The steak sandwiches were barely toasted, closer to stale bread.
The ladies in the shop were lovely.

**I have changed my service rating.due to the owners response. This was not a personal attack but rather an honest review, it would be beneficial to Pipi's if they took this as constructive criticism from a consumer.

A bit waiting but the crispy fish and chips and the tasty calamari made it all up. Staff are so friendly. Love it.

Very slow service, phone ordered and was told 30mins. I paid and then waited another 40mins for order. Another customer told me she had been waiting 1 hour. Two people sitting waiting to take orders, 4 people assisting but only one person cooking.

The old owners were always very generous and honestly the best chips we have ever eaten… new owners have sadly slowly declined…. Today I ordered some fish and chips.
The fish which used to be huge was tiny and the chips… well they were those horrible looking ones that fast like burnt oil and no flavour.

Looks like I may have to goto Carrara street and give them another shot.

First time trying the shop out, bought fish an two karbaras an chips, bloody lovely food cooked just right fish tasted fresh, karbaras done lovely an the chips OMG crispy outside fluffy inside very nice, nice service frenidly, the man in the hat reckons try them yourself you won't be disappointed

Very nice food. I bought 2 fish n chips combos and 2 Steak burgers. Perfectly made. Highly recommended.

We placed our order at 5.20pm with 40 minutes delivery time. Meal arrived 7.25pm over 2 hours with the thinnest steak in the steak sandwich and the thinnest, oily potato scallops I have ever seen.
We received a call saying we couldn’t get one item and to call back which I did immediately and after 5tries called the land line.
Very disappointing and really bad sevice ️

One of my favorite local gems, has never ever disappointed! Good food for fantastic prices! Decent servings too!

Ordered through Menulog with the idea being to collect lunch and then go home to eat. I arrived exactly at 12.40pm when the order was to be ready only to be told that it will take another 10-15 minutes. At 1pm the staff said they would start cooking my order now.

Nothing like having hungry kids waiting an additional half hour in the car to make you regret an order and vow to never come back again.

We choose Pipis as our local now as we enjoy the food and appreciate the consistency. They have something for everyone in our family from burgers to fish n chips. I’m always sad the days they’re closed and I feel like fish n chips!

Over the years Pipis has changed owners a few times, generally when that happens the quality of the food changes.sometimes good, sometimes bad. I can honestly say Pipis is the 1 restaurant where new ownership hasn't affected the quality, it's almost as if the previous owner trains the new owner, "these are the customers expectations! ". The fish is always cooked to perfection, this time I ordered calamari, it was lovely and tender, but the chips.so golden you know they are going have a crunch, you bite into them the inside is soft and almost fluffy. A couple of times I've ordered just chips and whilst waiting, I've ducked next door to the bakery for a fresh crusty roll. CHIP BUDDY!
