Piccones SUPA IGA Edmonton reviews
46Being a local 18 years & having had children work here now Grandchildren working there it is a Great Community. Staff here know my name everything you need is available. Fruit & vegetables are locally sourced & the staff here are always welcoming & polite
Didn’t expect the security guard to go on a power trip right as I walked through the door. Haven’t visited this store in a couple months and everything else was closed as it was a Sunday night (8: 30pm) I walked in alone and was harassed instantly, I don’t mind a bag check as I’m walking out but to demand I take my bag off before I even make it into the shop is beyond ridiculous. The lone security guard was aggressive and completely out of line as I had done nothing to deserve this treatment.
Id suggest hiring new security and everyone watch out for the short one who wears glasses he’s looking for a fight if you ask me.
Very community focused. Great prices and local produce. The staff are pleasant. Some of the staff don't appear too interested and can let the team down.
Fresh produce and large range of products, long opening hours, open 364 days of the year
Terrible, unsafe parking
Pretty good staff, majority of the time they are all smiles until they get that one random person that has to ruin it for everyone else! Great store with plenty on offer. With thanks!
Dunno what’s happening with this shop the last 6mths, first s.t meat tough premium meat … but they try n sell ya $100 per kg Wagyu steak. I wonder how much of that they actually sell for a supermarket in a socioeconomic area?
Just opened a bag of washed SA potatoes that I purchased 4 days ago and they’re bloody off.
I used to rave about this shop for good produce and outstanding service but seems it’s rapidly going down hill.
Not the service that’s still great.
A fantastic community supermarket with a great selection of products, many items not available at Coles or Woollies.
Today was my first trip to Piccones even though I have lived nearby for four years.
I really wish I had come by earlier.
The store is well stocked with a really good selection. It was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly.
In addition, instead of a loyalty scheme they donate to a local charity of your choice.
I shall definitly be going back to do my weekly shop.
Everything you need and more.staff are helpful and very polite and open till 12 and opens at 5 so you can run down if you need anything.still a great store with a Deli and fresh fruit and veg can't go wrong
Bought beef to make a roast for a overseas guest. It wasn t marked down and was not near its best by use date. We roasted it with veggies on the Public Holiday Monday only to find it was rotten I rang and the girl said oh the butchers not here and the generators are down you will have to ring back tomorrow. We decided to just eat the veggies not thinking of them being in the meat juices so we all spent the next day fighting for the loo.
Rock solid avo in my door dash order, could go and play a game of cricket with the thing and it'd still be in tact afterwards, you beauty.
The place is cold but they have the best meat (real quality for your $) and the butchers there are helpful as.
This is such a dependable IGA. The ‘opening’ hours are super convenient especially for those of us who don’t work a normal 9-5. Always a pleasure to shop here, great selection of products and friendly staff.
Everything you need and more.staff are helpful and very polite and open till 12 and opens at 5 so you can run down if you need anything
Only allowed 2 milk not 3 as I get always. But there is a nice way to say this but this big junior with very long hair and long unhappy face wasn't very pleasant about it. I will just go a bit further to opposition and get my necessities from now on. These people need stiff training and medicine. Which is a happy smiling face. To pass onto customers. I spend at least 250 dollars weekly at IGA. Have done for more than 40 years.
Went here this morning and asked for two pkts of cheapest 20's in the burst or crush blue she gets them and says can i search your bag to which i responded could I finish my transaction first as i was still transferring the money. Get outside and open them only to find shes given me bond street classic menthol. Took them back and they refused to swap them claiming she showed me them. Ive tried again and again to explain to them I was doing a bank transfer on my h and she never once said are these the right ones and was more interested in searching my bag which I dont have an issue with just let me pay for my groceries first. Some staff out thete are extremely rude and tgats the last time ill step foot inside their store.
Piccones IGA Edmonton is always a pleasure to shop they're better than Coles better than Woolworths that's all I have to say by
If you guys say you are open till midnight stay open till midnight i mean let people in …. I finished my work and reached at 11: 50 and didn’t let me in and said closed … what a joke.was just to grab a drink. Or atleast advertise on door that people be won't let in after certain time.
Nice and clean. A wide variety of food. Not super expensive like some IGA's. Much better than the Edmonton Coles.
One of the best IGA stores I have ever been in. If they could source some Jazz apples I'd give them 5 stars without hesitation
