I have shopped here for quite a while now. The staff are friendly, helpful & love a laugh. The prices are competative in comparison to stores of lesser quality items. The quality here is excellent. The store has a high standard of cleanliness & has a wide range of stocked items. Happy shopping, just leave me something to buy.

I ordered 2 Lego sets and I got a bundle deal for both for 95 dollars. That is cheaper than retail for one set!

Bought Nintendo 3DS game online off Gumtree - very easy transaction, quick replies, easy payment and free shipping. Got it the post the next day and item was in great condition and exactly as described.

Just want to commend Sabrina and her male co worker today on their excellent service. Before I even ventured into the store I was hearing about how wonderful the staff were from other customers in their car park.
I needed to liquidate some jewellery to finalise a deceased estate. Their value far exceeded my expectations as did their friendly smile, warm welcome and great service.
I listened to the gentleman engage with other customers while I was there. He was full of empathy, genuine concern and warmth. What a wonderful experience it was!

The words thank you cannot express how I feel towards the team in this store. The money was so much more than I was offered elsewhere but what I really wanted to say was; Ryan they way you included my 6yr old Autistic son into our transaction so he knew what was happening brought me to tears, turning the screen around for him to see, giving him a pen and paper so he can write things down and even referring to me as “Mum” rather than my name so he would understand and not become overwhelmed.

All of this compassion and consideration just days after such a horrific experience for the Pennywise team shows that you all don’t work there for the money, but because you truly care about your customers.

I don’t know how connected upper management is with their stores, or if you are franchised, but they should be proud to have such an incredible team. I’m not usually happy to admit to anyone that I have to go into hock shops, but I will be telling EVERYONE.

Had the best experience! I lost my engagement ring yrs ago and I always search for it on facebook marketplace hoping it would end up on there one day. Amazingly what are the odds that it was finally on there, being sold through Pennywise Brown's Plains. They were so responsive, kind and professional straight away. They also posted my ring out asap without extra cost, was so greatful. My ring couldn't of fallen into better hands?

Justine you are amazing thank you for all your help today appreciated so much. You eased some of my stress today.

Went into buy a product listed online, got all the way there, the product was still there but wouldn't sell it to us, apparently it was on hold for someone that still hasn't left any money on it. According to the ACCC in a retail setting they are only allowed to hold it for a customer if a deposit has been taken in this case it wasn't.

Stay away and don't waste your time

Massive thanks to the young Ryan for helping me every time I come on down (as much as I wish I didn’t have to). Best and fairest prices around and his smile and service are incomparable, if you’re new to pawning items, he takes the time to explain everything perfectly. My advice - never go anywhere else!

Friendly staff always there to help you, lots of selected items at good prices.
They offer excellent prices on loaned items.
Parking is a hassle but you can still park in other areas.

Would just like to extend a gigantic thank you to Ryan at Pennywise Browns Plains store, who assisted my very elderly mother in her sale of her beloved boombox. Took the time to be patient and always smiling and then offered so much more than other pawn brokers in the area. You have proven that the negative persona surrounding pawn shops is not always true and I thank you for being so kind and gentle with the elderly. You truly are a credit to your employer.

Justin and Damon are incredible people! No matter what they have always tried there absolute best to help me always so understanding polite and friendly makes you actually want to go back the fees are not through the roof as much as I say i can not thank them both enough they are the biggest asset to your company pennywise! Brought in a handful of random tech items I had once loved, such as gaming consoles, old phones and computer parts; and the store actually gave me significantly more than I was expecting for my pawns!

The customer service was absolutely fantastic! I was served by a young man called “Damon”, and he gave me a good price for everything; rung everything up with little to no effort on my part, and was just generally pleasant to talk with; absolutely recommend Pennywise BP and will surely be returning with more items to sell!
