I received a phone call (sorry can't remember the name of the Nurse, but she had injured her leg so couldn't come and visit. I enjoyed the conversation.and I prepared an update on Nutritional products and medication and the Lifewave Photo Light Therapy (Patches) and passed it on to the personnel at Medical Centre. I have been with the same doctors Dr Peter de Wett for seven years. He is a very thorough doctor with a great patient bedside manner. Can’t speak highly enough of him as he is caring, compassionate and extremely professional and reliable.

Unable to get an appointment, even after I explained I have severe bronchitis, there fully booked, maybe I’ll have better luck winning the lottery.shocking state of our health system.

Ok service for a gp don't really go to a gp prices to see gp a bit on the nose! $
But covinent for me.hard to get a booking just like anything these days

The DR was prompt and courteous, asked questions and listened and communicated very well with a plan moving forward.

The Dr visit was good, however the receptionist was quite rude not to me but to a number of other paitents attending the Drs

The Dr was wonderful. However Joanne the team leader at reception was so rude. When I walked in without a mask (as I have a medical exemption) she said after trying to hand ne one, 'it's a condition of entry' then after I explained about the exemption, in an abrupt tone and loud enough for everyone to hear she told me to be seated outside! After shouting all my private details from a distance. Whilst I was there all restrictions were removed and a staff member ripped the signs down. It's a farce. If everyone was in a 'protective mask how am I a risk. It is so segregating and it must be what racism feels like. Disgraceful.
That kady dies not know my story. Show some respect and dignity.

It gets a little challenging with a very long weighting time to see the GP. However they will make an effort to fit a patient in on certain dates. I feel the charges are high, especially when they charge for double consultation without any warning.

We love our local practice. Dr Lauren Shorthouse is our family doctor and she is fantastic. Open, warm and approachable whilst also being patient and thorough. We are definitely regulars in her office and she has seen us through pregnancy, allergies, spinal surgeries and more and continues to do so. Other Dr's we have seen in her absence who are also excellent, Dr Peter De Wett, Dr Griener, Dr Sharlene Bowes.

Our Family doctor is Dr Peter De Wet who we first met upon our moving from NSW six years ago.
During our time my wife and I have had some detailed medical issues and Peter has gone to great lengths to ensure that we have had the best treatment available on the coast including Cancer, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Urology and Skin specialists.
He has not only referred us to the various specialists but has kept in contract with us and them to ensure our wellbeing all the way through.
He is very compassionate and is always available for us. We are very fortunate and proud to have him as our G. P.
