I recently purchased a beautiful mural painted by Mitch Francis, titled "Living on the River". We live, play and work on Darumbal country and our town of Rockhampton has the Fitzroy River dividing the north and south side of the town. His story about living on the river reminded me of stories of I've heard about our First Nations people in our area.
