PCYC Logan City reviews
29 Very very rude staff! When calling regarding vacation care services for my child. I was greeted with such a disgusting and non welcoming attitude over the phone. Completely shut me down.
These women I spoke to were so rude!
Please take great consideration when enrolling your child in this service. I wouldn't think twice of having my child being looked after from these educators!
Sad. Take care of yourselves.
Excellent. Good machines, gym always clean and tidy. The gymnastics and boxing classes are excellent, good coaches.
New location checked out.
Gym has all new equipment.
Did not try any facilities but everything looked perfect.
Good facility and equipment. Music is awful but that's standard for public gyms in this day and age.
Nice to see some Australian Barbell Gear in there.
A lovely facility for gymnasts and people interested in an active lifestyle. Group fitness sessions are led by professional and friendly staff. The unisex toilets would be lovelier if the guys would aim straight and clean up after their random spraying, but there are plenty of restrooms to choose from plus lots of showers too. The gym equipment is nice and modern, with many of the electronic items having the technology to enable logging into podcasts or Netflix or news etc. The car park can get busy during the gymnastics and OSHC drop-off and pick-up times, and reception can be hard to get through to at the busier times (on the phone or in person). Staff are very approachable. The facility is clean and seems to be respected by the patrons. Recommended.
It's ok, had high hopes on joining but quickly falling into disrepair. Carpark is a nightmare and members are grotty and don't bring towels. Communication from management needs work
Great facilities, however the service and administration lets the facility down. Have been trying to call for over a month to cancel my daughter’s membership as I work full time. I have left multiple messages which are never returned, even though the message says I will receive a call back.
Have had to go into the facility to get it actioned and when I requested the last 2 payments to be reimbursed (as I could provide proof of phone calls) my request was immediately rejected, as they require 2 weeks cancellation in writing. How bout answer the phone or return phone calls, so your customers can action accordingly. Was thankful the admin was at least able to cancel my membership on the spot rather than impose the standard 2 week turnaround time, although I think that’s the least she could do.
Was told “sorry we are understaffed and having phone issues”. So they have acknowledged there are issues however I am still out of pocket for their lacking in staff and phone systems.
They are quick to follow up when my auto payment didn’t go through once though.
The service is worth 2 stars but the facilities are beautiful and new and would be 4-5 stars.
Clean and modern facilities, friendly atmosphere
I've had very pleasant interactions with their staff
I had an accident there recently
Staff were very professional with their first aid before I was transported to QEII.
I've emailed, I've called a couple of times and I've physically been down there to get information and prices to book a room for a function, but I can't get any kind of response.at all
Have tried many gyms and group fitness classes before. This is far above all of them for new equipment, friendly staff and cost. It is easy to put membership on hold when needed also.
Today I visited the centre Christina made my day and explained all aspect of the centre. Thank you Christina. 5star to you.
We started coming to the Little & Active kids classes because I was searching for something like gymnastics or ninja warrior for my 3yo. This isn’t quite what I was searching for but it is fantastic. Around $15 for one lesson per week which is guided by a coach but with various themed obstacles to do at your own pace. Perfect!
Great place in the community, but the program little n active is very expensive for 45 minutes for kids, It would be better at least if the duration is increased for the same price.
Very impressive facility. Great program for my grand daughter who is 2yrs and 3 months.
Plenty of parking and friendly staff.
Beautiful big building housing PCYC. Plenty of people using it too. Easy access and easy parking
Well thought out.
It's a great place for everything sport and activities for the kids and it looks great inside and easy to talk to staff
I have "BOOKED" the KinderGym class for my toddler and kept getting a phone call that her spot has been taken. I don't understand why this that happened and it is not just once but twice. This is not acceptable as we have to cancelled her swimming lesson to be able to get the KinderGym class and a day before her class you called me to say my booking is cancelled.
Hope your service can be improved and be more professional, as they have such a great facilities for the community. Heartbreaking admin service and unfortunately we won't go back.
Well presented new facility clean and tidy covid safe with friendly staff fantastic place to do your pcyc activities
False advertising in regards to the kindagym program, "encourage children to build motor skills and coordination, social skills and confidence. "
I felt like I should have wrapped my children in bubble wrap and had them on a leash not because that's what is in my childs best interest, but because that's what would have kept the staff comfortable.
Felt like their main concern was to avoid any possibility of a lawsuit, over providing a safe place for children (under their parents watchful and expert supervision) to grow and stretch their abilities in a fun and supportive environment.
Hope this can be improved, as they have such a great facilities for the community.
