Paradise Point Bowls Club reviews
41What a hidden gem. Some of the best service we've had at a local club. Congrats guys, you've lifted the bar. Meals were plentiful and tasty
A really nice club, friendly staff, great service, decent meals, beautifully made cocktails. A great place to hold an event or throw a party as the staff go above and beyond to accommodate you.
Easy access to bowls greens, also undercover bowls, also to dining inside. Plenty of places to sit, also parking no problem.
Fabulous club. My husband and I have had quite a few lunches at PPBC and they have been fresh, tasty and really well priced. Also a great place for entertainment. Lots of really cool bands and shows to entertain you. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. We have become members and look forward to enjoying this awesome club in the future.
First time visitor, now a member. Wow! Thursday night roast, massive portions (I couldn't finish) and delicious! Staff super friendly, chef amazing!
Lovely meal had by the 3 of us and the seafood tower was very fresh and great presentation. Sunday lunch tables set well if i had to have a whinge it would be the wait staff on our table was not very friendly.
Went with my friends for dinner.
The meal was overall very good. Service was very good.
A little pricey for a Bowls club. One of my friends asked for a little hot English mustard and was informed it would cost $2 hence only 4 stars. This should have been complimentary. Considering a jar would be only a few dollars.
People remember generous things.
I would have to consider whether to visit again.
Friendly staff, lively locals playing bowls and a bistro to grab a meal reasonably priced and drinks also
Great buzz on a Friday night, lucky draws, a singer, a band later and always full. We were visitors and were made to feel welcome.
Rude and aggressive female staff member, unreasonably argumentative in regards to covid check in - my entire family were kicked out despite having all the documentation, though one document was not linked but was still accessible and correct. False allegations of a threat made against myself, so likely to escalate this to Fair Work etc - quite keen to view the CCTV in regards to this. Highly recommend steering clear of this establishment. Was looking forward to a relaxing game of bowls as organised by my grandparents, such a shame really as we've been to the club before and had enjoyed ourselves on previous occasions. I had travelled approx 40mins to be at the club today and then was told by the rude female staff that my mum and I would be best to sit out of the game and just have a few drinks at the table and watch - what the hell was that about?

We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback but believe the issue was handled correctly on the day. The law is very clear that each person needs to be able to prove their vaccine status, the issue being one of your party said they could not produce the certificate as they had left it at home. We have zero-tolerance for aggression towards our staff which is why you were asked to leave. You are more than welcome to join us at the Club again, but please ensure that each person in your party can fulfil the entry requirements. "
To address your reply above - That is largely incorrect and you've disregarded the points in my initial comment. I stated we had all the correct documentation though one certificate was not linked. My mum had the original, authentic certificate but we could not link it to her check in app. I tried to explain this to your rude and aggressive female staff but I was instantly rebutted with a poor attitude. I replied "this is ridiculous" with a body language hand gesture and that was taken as a threat? Are you kidding me? Get your house in order, understand your staff are handling things poorly and don't try to palm it back on to the customer and ESPECIALLY don't throw around allegations of threats when there were clearly none. We went on to several cafes along the esplanade nearby and then the Runway Bay Tavern - absolutely no dramas with my mums original certificate, the other establishments were happy to take the extra 5 seconds to adjust their eyes to the finer print on mums certificate and we had a great afternoon in the end. And there's still the matter of your female staff insisting mum and I sit out on the bowls and drink instead. I understand it had something to do with the green being repaired or something, I'm not sure. Whatever the case, absolutely poor form - if you don't want people to bowl at your bowls club, maybe don't run a bowls club.
We went with friends for tea last night (Wed) as they were having xmas raffles. Our friends had been before and said the food and atmosphere was really great. Where do i start- I'm vegetarian so i ordered the vegetarian burger on the menu and the reply was "sorry we have just changed the menu and this is not in the system so i ordered the wagu beef burger but asked for the meat and bacon to be removed- they decided i didnt want the egg either but i got halved cherry tomatoes a slice of pineapple cheese and lettuce on the bun. My husband ordered chicken schitzel and chips with gravy- that meal came out with no gravy- the girl said she would get it - waited and waited no gravy- one of our friends ordered a fish burger- that came out and the waitress was behind me giving another plate to my friend when the mayo dish ended up on the floor splashing mayo over the waitress and in my hair and onto my shirt- no apology for that and she didnt even attempt to clean the mess up off the carpet- my friend put a serviette over it so no one would walk in it- she went back to the kitchen to get more mayo and we asked her for the gravy for my husbands meal- she came back - still no gravy- one of our group then went and asked for the gravy- after another 5 minutes someone brought the gravy- by then his meal was cold as was the gravy (the gravy was like dirty dishwater- very runny). My husband then went to the bar to order drinks- there was 4 people behind him- the young lass serving- served them before he was served - we thought it must have been very busy but that wasnt the case. It will definately be a good while before we come back for another meal.
I have only just come back after Covid, the renovations are well done and omg overdue. I dined in and I sat at table 100, the feel of the room is inviting but and yes there's a but. The gaming room should have been soundproofed as the alerts on the poker machines was really annoying. I find that I'm looking for a quiet place that you can have a normal conversation. I feel that this is a missed opportunity to make the venue perfect. I would have given 5 stars except for this main concern.
We were there on a Friday night with friends for dinner. The meals are awesome however, it was too noisy and we couldn't hear ourselves. We will definitely be back, just not on a Friday or Saturday.
We had a lovely meal. Well priced and met our expectations of a club meal. We sat outside under cover and the temperature was just perfect. Inside was a little bit noisy for our liking however I'd recommend sitting outside for the peace and quiet.
Done a whole 360 flip in renovations! And can really see love being poured into the club by the management team. Worth checking out for sure with all your family and friends.
Sorry only went their to pick up some stuff don't know what it's like but looks like a very nice place under cover bowls club woot woot
My absolute favourite club!
My partner and I love the atmosphere and friendliness paradise point bowls provides! The pokies are always great fun, and both Neil and Jimmy at the bar are hands down the most fun, friendly and kindest bartenders you'll ever meet. They never provide any less than perfect service. The new menu is great, and the addition of a bar in the bistro area is absolutely fantastic. Hands down always the place to relax and enjoy yourself. There's a lovely lady at the front desk who's always kind and welcoming; more than helpful when it comes to me always losing my club card! Couldn't recommend enough.
The club is the most friendly on the coast the staff are wonderful the patrons are also terrific the food is fabulous I could recommend to everyone.

Very busy day!
Father's Day menu deal was affordable and very tasty forthreecourses. I had the spaghetti with butter, shivered almonds and fresh broccolini. It was a huge serving, but delicious. Great bar service staff and helpful management.
Reasonably cheap for drinks and food, really good entertainment. Not a flash venue but relaxed and the staff are happy and friendly.
