My experience at Paddington Weddings was incredible from start to finish. So many designs to choose from with only high-quality materials being used. You are not buying a dress off the rack and having alterations done to make it fit you. Their service is very unique in Brisbane. Your measurements are taken and your dress is made from scratch specifically for you to fit your body perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble with little tweaks or adjustments along the way ensuring everything was made to perfection with quality craftmanship. My dress was absolutely stunning with the addition of hand sewn crystals on the bodice. It was very flattering and comfortable to wear, and I felt like a million dollars. I received so many compliments on the day how gorgeous my dress was.
I have no hesitation recommending Paddington Weddings to any bride looking to find their perfect dress.

My Grace Loves Lace dress arrived just a few weeks out from my wedding and needed very minor alterations. GLL recommended Paddington Weddings, but I was still a bit nervous about getting it done in time, and what the cost would be as it's not one of 'their' dresses. Anne was lovely, recommended an additional tweak to the hem that improved the dress, and had it back to me on the same day very affordably. Thank you!

I had visited several other bridal stores prior to coming to my appointment at Paddington Weddings. Anne and Gill are both so lovely to work with, and my dress was absolutely beautiful. I had really wanted some extra 'sparkle' for my dress, and was not disappointed! I loved my floaty silk skirt; it was so light to wear and perfect on the sand for a beach wedding.

Anne, Gill and the beautiful team were an absolute dream to work with in creating my dream dress. I was so happy I got my wedding dress made with Paddington weddings. As soon as I stepped into the shop I felt comfortable and I was in good hands with Gill. Anne and team are very skilled and experienced dressmakers. I had peace of mind which is so important for such a big purchase. I brought my beautiful Pronovias gown to Paddington Weddings for my alterations. I needed a hem, new breast cups, sleeves taken out and a belt made. I looked and asked around before choosing Paddington Weddings, who made me feel really comfortable and confident in getting the alterations I needed. Anna looked after me and my dress. She was absolutely amazing. So experienced, took her time with me and knew exactly what needed doing to make my gown fit me perfectly for my big day. She even explained the alterations she would do as she marked them out on me - gave me confidence and choices which helped me make more informed decisions on what I wanted done. I was very impressed and left feeling calm and confident. Three weeks later I picked up my dress and everything was perfect - I actually cried (happy tears) in the car after my appointment. The hem - perfect. The breast cups - invisible. The sleeves - perfect, not tight anymore but also not loose (which is what I worried about). The belt - perfect and super cute. Thank you so much Anna for taking the time to look after me and my gown. I am ready to get married now!

After stopping by a few other bridal shops in Brisbane, all who only offered "standard size" gowns and having yet to find "the one", I went into Paddington Weddings. My whole experience with Paddington Weddings was exceptional from that first appointment. I felt like Gill and Anne really understood my body and the look I was going for, and I was able to find and have my dream wedding dress be made for me. My seamstress Ellen was also a marvel, and made alterations that were responsive to my feedback following try-on appointments. I have no hesitation recommending Paddington Weddings and the team to any bride looking to find their perfect dress.

My wedding dress needed to be taken in 3 sizes, a feat I wasn't sure was possible but the alterations team at Paddington Weddings did the most incredible job.

I came in for a quote and they were open and honest about everything. They did the most amazing job and the dress looked perfect.

I highly recommend Paddington Weddings for any bride-to-be looking for their dream dress. After years of IVF I was at my heaviest and all staff made me feel relaxed and comfortable. As the dress was being made here is Brisbane I was able to pause IVF for a short time to allow me to look my best without needing to provide measurements months and months out from our date. At my request the dress was completed a short time before our wedding day. The whole experience was pressure free and they listened to what I wanted in a dress. I liked that we were supporting a Brisbane based family company and its the most beautiful dress. The dress travelled well in the plane to the sunny Hawaiian beaches too!
