16Poor delivery service - very unclear how what they offer could be described as a premium delivery service. Cant comment on the customer service as there has been no attempt at providing any.
If I could give less than 1 star I would.
I don't recommend this company at all. Delay after delay, excuse after excuse. 7 month to complete an order and I haven't got it all yet, so who knows how many more delays and excuse would come. I cancelled the balance of my order. They need to get better import / inventory managers if you ask me. Import delay excuses only goes so far. If plenty of other importers including my own company can get it right in the times, why cant they.
False promises, delays and bad service. Were promised delivery before Christmas and then delayed to Mid Feb.they took all of our deposit and were not even decent enough to give us store credit which they had promised. Never again shall we trust them
I do not recommend purchasing from this store. If you encounter any problems you will find they are absolutely unwilling to work toward customer satisfaction. I have found it a stressful and unpleasant experience shopping with this store and will not do it again. Absolutely regret all the money that has been wasted with them.
By far the best quality timber furniture shop in Brisbane, great showroom and friendly helpful staff. Delivery organised and was a breeze.
Very rude customer service. What we only wanna do is tracking the order, but the guy just said don't ask me, I don't know, and hang off the phone before we finishing the word.
The store manager Fiona went up and beyond for my partner and I. We are both so thankful she could help us in the stressful time of moving. Honestly I would give Fiona 20/5. Thank you!
Terrible customer service and poor quality. One star goes to the manager of the Fortitude Valley store who agreed there was a problem with the frame of the lounge.
Spent over $5000 at Oz Design to furnish a new property and one of those items was the ASH 3 seater lounge.
Their lounges are poor quality and customer service does not care. Kept blaming us saying that the issue is the lounge is on floor boards and making a noise. We actually do not have floor boards. Lounge foam is definitely not the same as in the show room and the frame clicks and squeaks all the time which we think it has either been dropped or knocked in transit. Also had to help get the lounge in myself as the delivery guys thought it impossible. Manager at Fortitude Valley was trying to help due to the lack of customer service from their head office. Would not buy furniture from Oz Design again. Agree with these reviews here totally.
I am giving one star purely because i had great prompt service from Samantha at customer care.

I had a brand new couch delivered on Friday, which arrived to be stained in several places and with a lovely overall layer of grub and dirt - not what you expect when you spend alot of money to get a NEW couch.
This couch was not new, that's for sure.
After waiting 48 hours to see what can be done, i was told they would send someone out to clean the couch - this resolution is actually rude and disrespectful.
This is not something i will be letting go that's for sure, ACCC here i come:) Still deciding if a refund would be the better option, we will see if they can turn the service around.
My advice, go to anywhere but OZ design.
The worst customer service you will experience in Brisbane. Staff are unpleasant, downright rude and will not provide any assistance with their products. I have been in store a number of times over the past few months and have had an unpleasant experience with every staff member.
I have purchased a few stunning pieces from Oz Design over the past couple of months but I will not be shopping here again due to staff issues and belligerent environment in this store.
Good variety. Reasonable to expensiveish prices. Alwyas a sale. Quality furniture. Big selection.
Walked through first time.staff ignored me and continued having their own conversation.walked through again to give them another shot and all i got was a 'hello' no greet or asking if i need help.
Sales staff have buyers walking out their doors because they arent doing a thing to get their business.
I really enjoyed shopping in this lovely store. I particularly loved their extensive range of artwork. The staff were friendly and the store is laid out and styled beautifully, with some lovely vignettes. They have loads of interesting products to browse through. I liked the fact that many of their products do not look exactly like Freedom Furniture, although they are similar in contemporary style and design. The sales staff greeted me when I walked past and allowed me to shop in peace, which is great! Car parking is available in the basement, entry via Wickham St, which is one way or Montpelier St which is two way. I can highly recommend spending quality time, checking out all the great stores in this boutique Homemaker Mall.
Totally agree. Worst customer service, rude delivery people, uninterested manager. Had to get the sofa in ourselves as to them it was "impossible" and they left. Manager could not have cared less. Some of the furniture faulty. Have spent so much money there. Will never shop there again. Disgusted.
Cant recommend them at all. Despite the name "Oz" in the name, items are not produced in Australia. Items are produced and machine cut overseas (think mine was Indonesia) and then sent to Australia where they are "assembled". Shelves looked to be natural solid wood but actually once removed you can see the inside is chipboard. Waited 14 weeks for item to be made, after verbally being told 8, when it arrived it was wrong & required replacing. Was directed to an extremal complaints department outside of the store (so no longer dealing with the anyone within the store i purchased from), who didn't accept responsibility for the error until their supplier accepted the same responsibility. Finally agreed to replace it after 2 weeks then had to wait another 10 weeks for it to be remade. When it finally was in, advised on Tuesday they could deliver Saturday. When asked what time, the could not clarify then let me know at 17: 00 on Friday. Only time they could deliver was between 14: 30 -16: 00 which we could not accept due to prior plans. Advised delivery may now be another 1-2 weeks as they only delivery Tuesday & Saturday & booked out week in advance. I then got lectured about using foul language for saying the word "fricking". Consideringthe circumstances, id would say "fricking" was rather restrained, expected a lot more for their prices, felt like A-Mart for adults in the end
