O'Reilly's Lost World Spa reviews
34 I enjoyed an amazingly relaxing Hot Stone massage.
The facilities there are wonderful.
A beautiful lounge area to relax before and after your treatments.
Lockers to store your personal items safely.
And lush thick robes are provided.
Had a fantastic Christmas buffet here and the infinity pool was really nice. Temp of the pool was spot on, not too cold.
Only fault was all the marsh/horse flies around the pool area.
Fantastic views, lovely food, great hosts. Can't complain really
Solid place. Must visit. Nice relaxing spa, worth the money. Swim was cold but refreshing.
Well isn't this a hidden gem if you have not visited this place yet you need to. We booked a 2 night stay at O'Reillys although you can still book at the day spa even if your not staying. We enjoyed a couples masaage facial and foot massage. Beautiful rainforest views plunge pool steam room it was divine. I can't remember the 2 ladies names but you know who you are Thankyou you made our experience amazing we can't recommend enough. We will be back.
I had such a luxurious relaxation massage at O'Reilly's Day Spa. The staff at reception and my therapist Nina made me feel so welcome and relaxed. Nina's excellent relaxation massage had me drifting off and I needed to chill out a little while longer in the waiting room with delicious whole leaf jasmine tea to savour every moment. I will be back and will plan ahead to make the most of the rest of the services and facilities available.
Beautiful place to unwind. Wonderful individualised service and excellent massage. After your appointment you're welcome to stay as long as you like to enjoy the fire place, choice of tea, the view or stream room. Highly recommend. Although there was rain & fog when I was there (which I love), it was wonderful.
Beautiful retreat in Lamington National Park. I was there for a conference and stayed in one of the villas. The walks are the real attraction, and the natural beauty is incredible. If you're not an experienced bush walker, the guided walks or easier tracks are probably a good idea. Some of the longer trails are challenging.
My mum and I recently visited the Lost World Spa, during our stay at O’reillys. From the minute we were greeted, we felt welcome and an instant sense of calm. We didn’t know how lucky we were to have received both the Jess’ as our therapists until we got to experience their beautiful massage therapy. Both Jess’ were so friendly and professional, with exceptional skill. Mum and I left feeling so relaxed. Thank you again so much!
Amazing couple spa experience. We did the vinotherapy steam and bath, one hour massage as well as one hour facial. However, do not bother booking for deep tissue as it just felt like a relaxing one despite me telling masseur to go harder. But perfect location, view, and experience!
This place is a hidden treasure, so amazing and so worth the windy drive to get there! The best service, villas are so luxurious and the food and drinks are delicious!
Horrible, me and my partner traveled a long distance to stay with them. When we arrived the reception told us we could no stay because we had not had our covid injections. We told her no one told us this info when I payed. After a few heated words they told us to leave and never refunded us.
Incredible nature experience in world class rainforest. Staff were top notch at every point. The rooms are a bit dated But it’s a very hard location to service or renovate so full credit to them for running this operation the way they do. Felt a bit like a ski resort in a rainforest. Day spa and pools were a fun addition. It’s a bird watchers dream.
I booked my wife and I in for a 90 minute couples massage at The Lost World Spa over Easter Weekend… best massage ever! These therapists are of high quality. We were left floating! Thank you Jessica and Jess
Booked weeks in advance for 60min relaxation massage for 2. Couple of days before received a request make it 30min later…sure we’re ok with that. Arrived on time, reception friendly, ambience and facilities nice. Massage staff friendly but need more experience…especially as we paid $160 each. My wife and I had very different experiences. Though our common feedback would be massage staff need to really cut back the finger nails. I felt the quality of mine was affected by lack of experience, but wondered if his motivation was there. At the end they said take your time, and the moment we left the treatment room to relax in the lounge area (like the couple who had the time slot before us had done), a lady appears and says we finish at 5pm, a polite but clear message we had to go, felt rushed…not worth a return visit though we will stay in the accommodation again as it was excellent.
Beautiful hidden gem in the deep Center of a rainforest, you would never expect to find something like that, worth to try it, embrace the drive with a reward for your soul
Excellent venue. Staff go out of their way to make our stay friendly and personal. Many thanks to Emma at reception. Really enjoyed the bird feeding session in the morning with Glen who is a great company asset.
Had a lovely couples massage treatment with plenty of amazing views to take in, bring your swimmers to enjoy the infinity pool and book in advance for the vinotherapy. Highly recommend especially with an amazing drive through Lamington National Park.
I visited the spa last week and was not going to write a review, but thought I should so hopefully they will take this feedback to ensure another paying client do not receive the same experience.
Firstly one of the attractions of this spa was the infinity pool and we were never advised it was closed for maintenance until arrival.
We had the first appointments for the day and when showing us our lockers she had to open a few as they still had the dirty towels and robes from the day before.
I had booked a 90min massage and they were late starting, which is not an issue, it was the fact that I was back in the locker room 70min after she started the massage (I saw on the clock the time when she walked in, but did not look until I was back at the locker). I was shocked she finished before the scheduled time and did not make up for the fact she was late.
Then there was the actual massage. The music was so faint, I had to strain my ears to hear it, so it was a little awkward just laying there in silence. She also asked if the pressure was good, which it was at the start and then after she was barely touching me, and just moving her hands over my body, no 'massage' at all. In the form you fill out before, they ask what you are looking for in the session and I mentioned to release the tension in my back and she barely spent any time on my back and majority of the time on my legs.
I tried to speak with someone at reception, but was unable to locate anybody.
I was really looking forward to this and thought there would be certain level of professionalism. It has to be the worst massage and day spa I have ever had / been to and what a waste of money. I was really disappointed as I am trying to find one that is not too far to travel to from the GC and this seemed to be the perfect place. I guess I will keep looking.
Wonderful atmosphere, great service. Really felt like a world away from day-to-day life. Even got a mini-bus ride back to our car.
What a wonderful massage!
The staff were professional and very accommodating from the moment we stepped into the spa. I would recommend Lost World Spa 100%.
Thank you very much.
