Chloe from Office Works North Lakes is a super star and should be praised. Thanks for going the extra mile for me this Christmas.

Recently needed to print luggage tags for an upcoming cruise. Tried to use the self serve but couldn't get it right
Went to the counter to ask forhelp Did this 3 times. Got no real help from a young lady who clearly wasn't interested
After spending several dollars with no result, I went to the North Lakes library where I was willingly helped
Wont bother with Office Works again
Was immediately and willing helped

Lovely staff, extremely well maintained store.
Particularly impressed with a team member by the name of Cathryn. She is always so lovely, caring and willing to help. I’m often in and out right before the store closes and she is always so helpful and kind.

I always come here for printing & never had an issue before in any aspect - today I was pressured to use the self serves instead of counter to which I declined. I literally came here a week ago and there was a much bigger line (only 3 of us in line today) and the boy who served me didn’t suggest it once. Apparently you’s want little jobs over there and the counter for just “big jobs”… right…. A lady, Alicia was polite and really understanding when I explained I refuse to use self serve machines everywhere.but a young girl just kept insisting. “just to confirm you’d rather pay 75c compared to 49c on the self serves? ! ” I said no leave it at that jesssussssss. Then apparently you’re phasing out sending docs to the officeworks email, some flash email where you get a barcode? Seems pointless to me but if that’s the case, maybe training across all staff about these new policies so there’s a bit of consistency, would be great!

Few of the reviews are right that Katherine customer service rep.is so rude, she has not done it once but every time, she rolls her eyes on you, she shows as if she is doing a favour on serving you, rather than you being a customer at office works. Don’t feel like walking up to her and asking for help at northlakes office works.

Excellent service from Talei in print section. She goes above and beyond to help the customers. Definitely a shining star in your team.

Very rude staff member up there named Jesse.male staff, not at all willing to help and instead making excuse of having appointment while was just gossiping around and doing nothing. Surely shouldn’t be there at customers service counter.

Extremely rude staff member called Katherine works there and is the reason for this 1 star review. I was apalled by how I was spoken to and treated. It's a shame because some of the other staff are nice (notice I used the word 'some' not all).

Edit: just looked at some of the other reviews. Plenty of people saying the same thing! If I was the owner of that store I'd be having a word to the middle aged women working there (the guys seem to be mostly ok from my experience). Also found it funny that one of the reviews mentioned the same things I experienced - the two middle aged women chatting ignoring customers, giving eye rolls etc.

I was making mistakes using the self serve but with Jane's help I feel more comfortable for the next time. Love old fashion service and I was shown that in spades. Thanks Jane.

Staff at the print desk are awesome. But OMG FIX YOUR PHOTO STATION DESK. THEY HAVEN'T WORKED PROPERLY FOR MONTHS! FED UP

Every time I have gone here I have received no service at all. I came today to look for a computer monitor and made it clear I needed help but nobody came. Another time I came to look for an iPad for university and the same situation happened. It is your own loss though as the good guys were much more accommodating and have received both sales. I do not intend to come back here.

We went to get some printing done at Office-works Northlakes store around 12pm Friday 17/3. Jesse at the printing counter was extremely helpful and so nice, best customer service we’ve ever had at an Office-works

Best place that has an excellent system for school stationary, seriously takes the stress from it all.

I literally emailed my stationery list for 2 kids yesterday, Sunday. Office Works online system allows you to edit exactly what you need and don’t need incase you have leftover stationary from the year before. My bill came down to half because their system is so easy to use. No dramas.

Don’t forget to use your flyby points too!

They were amazing! It was busy today, but it looked like they had everything under control. It was organised and not chaotic, and they were so kind and helpful.
The girl at the entrance was professional and helpful to everyone who came whilst able to coordinate the employees in the store.

Awesome customer service from the two young blonde haired twin girls (sorry I didn't catch their names) store was super busy with back to school and so much effort was made both on the floor and behind the cash register. Very sweet girls and very helpful

What a difference an employee can make. I recently left a glowing review for Aaron at this store & would happily do the same for Blake who I dealt with on Monday Jan 2nd, who was equally as pleasant, professional, attentive & knowledgeable. There was a HUGE issue with my 6 week old (Ex Display) Laptop but as it was outside the "replacement" period Blake had to "follow protocol" as to a solution - I felt the "protocol" was a little rigid & asked if I could speak to the Manager to see if he could assist, THAT is when it all went down hill, Vaughan, (the Manager that day) came over, Blake filled him in & told him that I would like to discuss options - he stood in front of me, didnt say a word just stared at me! I explained the situation and asked for his help/consideration. Long story short, his attitude on arrival was hostile, aggressive & EXTREMELY rude - he basically told me (in not exact terms) "tough" & stood there staring at me - I was pleading my case & I said to him, "you are staring at me like I am some sort of halfwit & that you have heard it all before" His response was to change stance & raise an eyebrow. I left th store in tears & very distressed. His derogatory manner, arrogance & hostility towards me was so upsetting I will NEVER go to the North Lakes store again. Shame on you Vaughan I feel with the awful attitude you demonstrated on Monday, you most certainly do NOT deserve a Managerial position, quite the contrary, you should not be dealing with honest customers. Post Script. 5 minutes in another store (Morayfield) problem solved with care, attention, understanding & professionalism.

Dawood entered your store only tobe met with disappointment. Dawood turned into an isle and was met with the sight of hooligans, 6 hooligans to be exact. They stared at Dawood, making Dawood fell very scared and Dawood felt as those Dawood's life was about to end. But then, Mr. Officeworks swooped in and saved Dawood by bashing their skulls in, now Dawood was safe and was able to purchase a desk lamp for $39.95.

Got served by a rude woman by the name of Tegan on the checkouts today. Seemed as if she'd rather catch up on her conversation she was having with another worker than communicate with me. I had to assume I needed to get my own receipt out. Appalling CUSTOMER SERVICE hun. Re-train your staff and maybe you'll get a 5/5 rating from customers who visit your store. Won't be returning.

Helpful staff member at the Print Counter: Attended the North Lakes branch yesterday 40 minutes before closing time to scan and print old B&W photos for my folks. Whilst I am reasonably computer savvy, I was having difficulty using the equipment. I approached the print counter for assistance and the a young lady took the time to walk me through resizing the images to ensure they were print ready. Now one may say well that is her job however in an era of self serve, high workload and shrinking personnel finding customer focused staff is rare let alone in this instance where this young lady was busy performing what looked like end of shift duties. Unfortunately I did not get her name but if you want professional service and great product demonstration look for a redhead with glasses AKA Queen of Customer Centricity at the printshop.

Was in the shop yesterday looking for a non standard sized box to post something. Sean and Greg (?) helped me find the perfect box. They were friendly and went out of their way, the type of help that promotes loyalty.
