Aside from Oakley being one of the best brands out there, and a personal favourite, the staff that were working at the Harbour Town shop on the 2nd of Oct 2023 are probably the most incompetent, unhelpful and unfriendly staff I have ever witnessed. After spending nearly 10 min browsing, not once was I approached by any of the three ladies to ask me whether I needed assistance or not. More over, I lost my Oakley sun glasses as they were caught on one of the pieces of clothing I was trying on. After another 10 min of frantically looking around the shop with my wife and two kids, at no point did any of them offer to help or even asked what was going on. It wasn’t until my wife went up to one of them and asked if anyone had handed a pair of sunnies in did we get any attention and even then all they did was quickly brush her off and say no. After another few min of searching, I finally found them on a piece of clothing I was previously trying on. When it was time to pay for the items I wanted, I was met with the coldest shoulder possible and almost ushered quickly out of the shop. Even though I was spending $120, and could have spent more if it wasn’t for this attitude. A day before I also spent $200 + at the Pacific Fair shop and the staff there weren’t very helpful either, but not as bad as Harbour Town. I will not be going back to the harbour town shop. Who ever is responsible for this particular outlet, you need to re train your staff to the level that truly reflects the Oakley brand

Poor quality garment. Stitching had come undone. Only worn sparingly, definitely inferior workmanship. Replacement denied by management.

As always, the staff are excellent, took the time to check the recent supply on the computer and then locate within the shipment to locate my preferred sun glasses.

Great service all round not pushy or forced sale pitch to buy, so I did try several pairs of glasses and found what suited me best, my last time I was this store was 3 yrs ago, got a good pair of Oakley's polarised smart looking lightweight and for a good price discount.

The sales girl jess is absolutely amazing and beautiful person. I have previously had the pleasure of her Elite customer service and to be honest think she's is an asset and should be the manager of this store. She is out standing and a true professional but also makes you feel special like your the only person in the store like I said. VERY SPECIAL. Thankyou again Jess.

Five star experience, the lass was friendly, helpful and happy to have a joke with us. She gave us heaps of time to wander and try on different sunglasses before asking if we needed help, no jumping on us as soon as we walked in the door. Nothing was any trouble and she was very good at explaining all about (my first time experience) of buying a pair of Oakley's. I don't think I could have received better service, thank you Bec.

Great staff, the guy that served me and my kid was amazing. Made us feel acknowledge and welcome. Process was hassle free there was not too much to ask or any trouble. Always willing to go the extra mile to answer our questions. The sotre manager helped too and my kid had a great experience paying for his first pair of sunnies:)

I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful shopping experience than we received from Bec and her colleague (sorry I didn’t get his name).

They were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and provided a service above and beyond what was expected.

Bec is the reason why we went back to the Harbourtown store and is the reason as to why we would go back again.

Good level of stock with variety and almost all sizes available, this store had nice stock and they were more like an outlet price than others in this centre that are full retail. Grest

I came into the Harbour town store to ask about a slight defect in my Holbrook xl's. The fantastic staff kindly replaced my glasses for new. No fuss. Fantastic customer service. How it should be, customer for life. Thanks Oakley

Incredibly rude staff, doors locked at 3pm although says open til 530. Staff member looked straight at me and turned around and walked away instead of just being polite and saying sorry were closed, we will be open at x time.
For how bad the economy is at the moment these guys obviously dont need the money.

Good sales on clothing, but don’t bother going back for warranty. According to the Oakley website glasses have a 2 year warranty period. But in this store (I’m not sure about others) they will tell you it’s only 1 year. Mine were only 11mts old so not an issue this time. BUT if you buy your glasses on sale they will only deduct what you paid, off a new pair if they are not on sale, and this is like for like not an upgrade or anything. So if you paid $150 and those same glasses are in store for $225 you will be expected to pay $75 to get a replacement pair unless you wait for a sale. THEN! When you pay the extra they say hold on to your receipt because you still have 1mth warranty on your new pair as it’s from the date of original purchase! Had a similar issue a few year ago with a bag from the same store that fell apart in only a few months and they would only offer a store credit. Other stores might be better but this one is only good for cheap clothing that you don’t bother keeping receipts for. I’m off there product anyway as it doesn’t seem to be too good these days.

I bought sunglasses yesterday and was really impressed by a very helpful staff member called Tash. She was patient, knowledgeable and her customer service was fantastic. Such a breath of fresh air, thank you Tash! I really appreciated your help and recommend others to seek you out at Oakley Harbour Town.

We have been buying sunglasses here for sometime as the sungjass range is very good. What makes the experience even better are the staff. Not only knowledgeable but very friendly and helpful. Cassie the manager is fabulous and went out of her way today to help me. Very grateful and will definitely keep coming back.
