NumberWorks'nWords Ashgrove

We are very pleased with the math tuition support NumberWorks provides to our grand-daughter. The feedback provided on her progress is detailed and positive. They have also offered flexibility in the split of suport offered between Math and English. The support has given our grand-daughter confidence in the subject and she always looks forward to her tuition class.

Sarah and her team are amazing! My child has improved significantly over just 5 weeks. His confidence has soared and his results have been very impressive. We've never done tutoring before, and were a little apprehensive at first thinking it might be a bit '1 size fits all' but I can't praise NW'nW Tutoring in Ashgrove enough. We've been attending since relocating from Sydney 2.5 years ago. With a change in schools / ways of teaching, we found NW'nW provided a constant during this transition, and as we saw such positive results, we have continued coming. Its been a bridge between school + home, a place with young, committed tutors that really care about your kids.

The use of computers for learning is another plus. Its fun + engaging, and together with tutor feedback, also allows Sarah the manager to have a detailed & knowledgeable overview of your childs progress, learning and goals, so its very measurable. As time has passed, we realise how connected the team are to our daughter. They know her and her interests and really understand how she learns best.

From a parents perspective, its very organised and consistent. The tutors don't move on every 5 minutes, and they are also understanding + flexible if you can't make a lesson for any reason. We have found it incredible supportive and it has also alleviated the frustration and arguments we used to have over homework because apparently we 'didn't get it because they don't teach it like that anymore'. Haha

One term of tuition has already seen an increase in our daughter's confidence. She accepts guidance from her tutors that she would not take from us as parents. I wasn't sure if we needed to engage a tutor for her but am SO glad we did. Well worth the money!

My daughter has been going to NumberWorks'nWords Ashgrove for about 2 months now. From the minute we walked in for her initial assessment, they have made her feel very welcome and supported. At the end of each lesson, my daughter skips out and always has something positive to tell me. NumberWorks'nWords provide a wonderful service and a supportive environment. Our daughter has thrived here, the best results for us are she loves learning again! Grades are up too, a bonus. No more fights about homework, now she just jumps in and gets it done.

We have seen massive improvements in Miranda's English and Maths results following her weekly sessions with Numbers Works 'n Words in 2019. From avoiding everything to do with both subjects, she now has a true passion for maths, and has fallen in love with reading. Her class results have gone from D-C's for both to strong B's for both at the end of 2019. Very happy to recommend NW&W, and will continue in 2020.

NWW worked really well for our daughter. Although she was already motivated to do well at maths, she was finding hard to figure out where her gaps in knowledge were and how to revise/study in an organised, purposeful way. NWW identified the gaps through their testing system, then provided exercises to address them, and helped her to revise in a systematic way. She improved a great deal and her school teacher told her she really enjoyed marking her exam because she could see how solid her grasp of the concepts had become. We'll be back in 2020!
