The Cafe has a grassy area with established plants, which is an appealing play area for kids while their parents sip coffee.

The owners will rush over to your kids and abruptly tell them to stop what they're doing if they seem to be enjoying themselves too much.

It really adds unnecessary tension to an otherwise decent experience.

This is such a gorgeous little 'nook' on the mountain.it feels like it's own community of fabulous people. The event space is gorgeous and I am designing my own retreat around the space.the space is so awesome that is coming first, and I'm designing my program around it. Wished I lived closer so I could pop in every day!

An amazing space filled with light with both great function and form. I have enjoyed a weekly yoga class with a stop off at a gallery en route to a delicious single origin coffee - all within 50 metres!

We LOVE North Stores! It's such a great, versatile space that can be used for a whole host of events, workshops, office catch ups to name a few. Not to mention the entire North Stores team are a pleasure to work with!

What a fantastic venue to host a function. We had a networking event at North Store with over 60 attendees. The attention to detail, first class service and AMAZING food prepared by Brenda was superb. Highly recommend for any function or wedding! Thank you ladies for hosting us!

I have hired the event studio for my belly dance classes. The space is beautifully designed with a view and the natural environment felt inspirational to dance in. The facilities are clean and organised with wonderful lighting. It's handy to have a healthy cafe and coffee shop next door as part of the complex. A beautifully designed event space and highly skilled event providers. I wouldn’t look to host anywhere else on the mountain. The North Stores team are professional, have excellent communication and consistently provide a premium service to its clients.

I recently hosted a Sound Healing event at North Stores event space. It was an incredible experience. Some of my regular clients who attend my Sound Healings in other locations said it was the best one they have attended. I attribute this to the incredible tranquility of Mt Tamborine. Brenda and Sonja were amazing to work with. They made everything so easy for me. I look forward to holding more events in this beautiful space.

North Stores is such a wonderful destination - contemporary, ecological, and beautiful. A sanctuary of quality food, art, greenspace, and events. A must visit!

North Stores is a beautiful location for yoga & meditation classes and retreats. The back studio is beautifully spacious and filled with natural light. It’s a treat to come here every week!

It is the best place on the mountain to catch up with friends. The owners of picnic real food Brenda and Sonya have fantastic food and a great vibe. Watch their space there are great things coming to their little village that they both have created

Wow! I love this place. I love the food. I love the vibe. I love the people who run it and the people who go there! Honestly, every time I go, I meet up with people I know who have lived in the area for yonks as well as people from here, there and everywhere. I get a delicious treat and great conversation every time! What's not to love!

How lucky was I to have my 50th birthday party at Picnic Real Food Bar! When your family and friends are totally foodies and they have travelled from far and wide to be with you; I was super pleased we chose to have our private function for 42 people here. Why? The food was totally fabulous - fresh, local, tasty, with delicious vegetarian options too! Both Brenda and Sonja were great communicators, flexible and skilled at ensuring it all came together on the night. They know what they are doing and it was a pleasure to collaborate with them. My friends and fam just loved it and are looking forward to venturing back! Thank you so much for having us at Picnic!

I just hosted an event here and was blown away by the excellent level of professionalism and hospitality provided. The venue is absolutely stunning and is an opportunity to break free from the office and immerse in nature for a corporate retreat. Our staff commented on how delicious the catering was, a change from the standard sandwiches and wraps you usually get at events. Sonja was our host and she was so kind and lovely and made us feel welcome. 100% recommend this venue:) Thanks team.
