We are from Tasmania. We wanted fresh fish and good chips. Why not, we were on the Sunshine coast. This was the only fish and chips shop that provided fresh fish that we found, battered as we watched. All other fish and chips shops we were told use frozen imported fish. We didn't believe that so we tried other shops. When we asked the shop owners they admitted, "we use frozen fish".

Fantastic. REAL fish and chips, great size portions, realistic prices.
Highly recommend. Open till 7pm, everyday, yes AND Sundays!

In all fairness I only had potatoes scallops /cakes from here, they were thin, small and so over cooked they were dark brown, possible the worse I've ever had and 62 I've eaten a few, I can't comment on anything else and very unlikely to risk my taste buds

The fish meals here are consistently great. I ask for well done chips and they are served nice and crunchy. The fish is a generous whole fillet. My only advice would be to let the fish drain before putting on the chips. This prevents the fish draining oil onto the chips and allows the batter to crisp, otherwise it goes very soggy. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Just had a fantastic lunch there today, everything was perfect. Thanks team

Worst fish and chips we have ever had. We have been going here for years and it was always the best spot but unfortunately not any more. Fish was thin and dry, calamari was stringy waste of $40. Oh and they forgot my calamari so had to go back. All round horrible experience.

Best and freshest seafood on the coast (at great prices). If you are a challenged cook - ask Colin for a recipe - he gave me great tips and my dinner was a total success. Prawns and snapper was delicious.

Not one to write reviews, as a local to the area and frequently ordering from here iv noticed there has been a downfall in quality, ordered 3 Coral trout grilled last night, it looked as it was cooked in alfoil and poached not grilled, was over cooked and just no good. Pretty disappointed as this has been the case the last couple times we have eaten here. Sadly we won't be heading back.

Wow Great service and great food! We ordered grilled fish and the young girl at counter recommended the fresh snapper and we were not disappointed. Everything was fresh and full of flavour.
All the staff appeared young, vibrant and obliging. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Twin Waters thanks girls.

For over 3 years we have loved this store and all its fish n food.
The fact that it did not stock flake (my favourite since I was a kid) for sometime because they said the quality wasn't there so they wouldn't buy/serve lower quality was impressive.
Tonight was the worst, dryest, chewy flake we have ever experienced, luckily we had a few other things that were good to fill us up as could not eat the fish. The serve of chips seemed like half normal size too.
Not sure if management has changed as I phone ordered and dashed in but we were very disappointed.
Was saying to others just before I went for pick up how good the fish is there.
Hoping this doesn't happen next time but hey, need to put it out there

We just got some chips, fish, and dim sims, and they were horribly dry and over cooked. Disgusting

The food here was fresh and delicious! The staff are also very friendly, helping my family and I select which items were best for us.

The best fresh seafood and fish and chips on the Sunshine Coast! Their seafood and fish are sourced locally and always outstanding quality and price. The staff are always accommodating and friendly, and the chips can not be beaten. Keep up the great work NSS!

If you are after quality and quantity seafood at a more than reasonable price then North Shore Seafoods Trump's the rest by the length of Flemington straight. I was so impressed with the size and thickness of the fish and the calamari was tender. Chips were fresh and tasty. Don't go to the la di da fish shops get down to this place and see it for yourself. The beach is 2 minutes away if you want a lovely atmosphere too.
