Noosa North Shore Retreat & Tourist Park reviews
24We stayed in the caravan park and the updates they are doing to park are good. As for the hotel itself it's always nice to chill out in with plenty for the kids to do. We stay for tens days every January and have been for the last 3 years it's the perfect place to set up a bas camp to explore teewah beach and beyond to the lagoon and rainbow Beach. Facilities in the park are ok however with it getting more popular it needs to be cleaned more regularly and a larger laundry is needed.
I was a little disappointed but then when you remember that they are cabins and not an air bnb it makes sense. It was still a fun place with a toddler. All she needed was the pool. But just beware that all you are getting is shelter and air con. If you want ANYTHING more than bring it. The kitchen is not stocked. There’s no oven ware. There’s no little touches like hand wash or pegs or a comfortable couch. The stove burners were barely hot. I had to use the bbq for the campers to cook. The shower doors don’t close. I would guess it hasn’t been updated since the 90’s.
This was my first time to the retreat and I absolutely loved it. I'm just sorry I didn't know about the place sooner. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of room for lots of campers. There is so much for kids to do I don't believe they could ever get bored. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I did feel the food was a bit overpriced however it was very tasty and great portion sizes. I will definitely be back.
Great site, we were camping so hard to rate the room, thit was super packed which wasn't great and we weren't warned about the toilets being portable.but we love this place and will be back.
A great mini escape with the family. We loved it soo much we extended for another night. Reception staff were super helpful and we even managed to pick up a reasonably priced fishing rod at the store. Loved watching the kangaroos bounce though the campsites. Thank you, we will be back.
Accommodation was good. Spacious, big kitchen and gas stove. Pool was good too.locks were not working for some of the room doors. No internet provided by accommodation which is a main drawback. People felt bored as own internet was not working inside the room. Once you past the main reception your phone is dead. Looking at the price, Internet ahould have been free to customers. So rated service 3 star.
We had no internet service the whole stay, tennis court is great - all it needs is a floor redo, meals are a bit expensive as well as the bike hire is expensive.a spa and sauna would be great!
We had animals in the roof at night kept me awake.
We had a fantastic time here on a powered site over the holidays. So many amenities, the kids had a blast!
Had a great weekend close to the beach and shops if needed.i would recommend to anyone looking for a camping get away with your pooch. Amenities will be great when they are finished
You need to take a ferry to access this property. Fare is $10 for an ordinary vehicle each way, so it becomes an expensive stay if you are wanting to sight-see around the Sunshine Coast. Also, meals are not always available, so you have to rough it sometimes. When the meals are available, they are excellent.
We absolutely Loved it! Brilliant check in and friendly. Thanks so much! Can’t wait to return!
Great service from staff. Peaceful location on the lake. So many great activities, ie.giant swing, bouldering wall, MTB track and mini golf. Bar area awesome. Close to Noosa without the crowds. Kids loved the ferry ride. Quick and easy crossing.
This is a very peaceful setting with a good walking access to the lake and the beach just a short drive away. You can also walk to the beach through the bush that takes about half an hour.
The two bedroom cabin was clean and had a good aircon and basic facilities for cooking. There was no washing machine but there is a washing sink for handwashing and a washing line behind the property.
It is not a flashy or a new cabin but perfect for a fishing or an outdoors holiday.
There is a bistro and a bar that we used one night for a meal. There is also a shop in the same complex and that provides basic supplies plus some fishing gear as well.
It seemed the bistro, bar, shops building was quite new and nice.
Friendly staff, great food and cold drinks. A few highlights were the wildlife, all the activities (especially the new bouldering wall!) and the instructors that kept the kids busy so I could have a sneaky beer ;p
All in all I’ll definitely be back again!
We loved it here. Almost no reception, it was so peaceful and quiet. Big enough for the kids to have a run around and a play. And everything around was stunning. We will definitely be back.
Staying at Noosa North Shore Retreat was comfortable and well accommodated. Excellent facilities like a car wash and plenty of parking. All the staff were great and friendly especially the ones at the store and pub. Lots of wildlife and parks/hiking trails to explore. Was never bored. The beach was a minute away and perfect. The accomodation was large and clean with good facilities. I really enjoyed my stay
Staff and food were amazing, but a massive let down was the lack of facilities and the cheap looking, and smelling cabins. The bathroom doors were torn off, the shower head was old and moldy, the bathroom had no ventilation, so all i could see was steam. The location is nice, ive seen numerous friendly kangaroos.
It was good food for a school camp, and the staff were really nice just the activities were cut to short and to much was squeezed in such a small amount of time. If the activities were just the one thing it would have been better.
Nice camping venue and dog friendly but there is nothing to do with dogs on north shore except one area of beach. I wouldn’t recommend staying on this side of the ferry with dogs as it was $12 every ride to get across to Noosa main beach area which added up. We also had to pay for showers on top of already paying to stay at the site. They run by a $1 dollar coin machine and because we had no coins, we had to borrow from another visitor to the site. The shower was also automatically turned off with no warning on a timer, I was halfway through washing my hair. I don’t believe that they should be charging for the showers when you’re already paying for the site. I’d look elsewhere for options first.
Leah provided the best customer service, food and drinks for my group and everyone around us. We highly recommend visiting!
