Noosa Boathouse reviews
82So disappointed in the food. We had fish and chips and calimari. The fish was awful.made me feel sick from the first bite and thats all I had, couldnt stomach any more. The calimari was rubbery and just filthy. Not nice at all.so disappointed.and it cost $95 for food 1 x side, entree and main. That basically tasted like it was days old and reheated. I would recommend you stay away from this place
Exy tasteless fish and chips …got the battered fresh catch instead of the dory and it was full of oil and soggy …go to massies for your fish across the road.to much salt on the calamari but it was cooked well.potato cakes were good.been here in the past and it has failed again miserably. 72$ family pack 4 small fish
"I went there yesterday for lunch. Despite the place being almost empty, the server refused to give us a table near the window, citing reservations, even though there were no reserved tags on the table. We felt like we were being judged based on our attire and were denied a table for that reason. "
All great. Made you feel as though you were the only guests in the place. Well managed staff.
Had the 2 x Fish and chips from the take away part. The fish was fresh, chips were crispy, the service was friendly despite being busy and the staff were great.
Highly recommended if you're in the area and craving a classic Fish and Chips!
Lovely restaurant to visit, good location plenty of parking and nice to look at. Staff were lovely as was the service. I got the $74/PP shared set menu The food wasn’t what I expected some dishes were made cheaply/rushed and weren’t too nice on the pallet, very disappointed as I got “A” scallop and it was barley bigger than my little thumb nail and was chewy: (I do however recommend the short rib as a main- had to be the highlight of the night. Would go back for only that. Nice atmosphere.
Such a disappointment. We had the Seafood Chowder, a glutinous porridge that only tasted of mussels and smoked salmon. I could only manage half of the bowl, it sat like a stone in my stomach. Over priced, pretentious nonsense.
This is a must try if you are staying in Noosa, the food was incredible and the crème brûlée was out of this world, the staff were so friendly to us and gave our 6 month old lots of smiles. Will go again
The restaurant floats at the base of Noosa river with an excellent selection of modern Australian cuisine. The Chiefs special yellow curry with tofu was excellent!
Extremely rude service, was very disappointed we booked a table to have a lunch and a few drinks once we looked at the menu realised I couldn’t eat anything there as it is all seafood so we brought drinks and had a drink there after about 3 sips the manager comes up to us and tells us we need to leave our table as we are not eating and that they are loosing out on money as they are refusing people who want to eat……. Absolutely disgusting service will not be recommending this place….
My partner and I enjoyed our Christmas lunch immensely, the food and service was exceptional, such friendly and attentive staff who looked after us. The beautiful scenery on the noosa river added to our day.
What a great place! Unfortunately they weren't serving food for reasons out of their control, but the building itself, top level bar and views are fabulous! We enjoyed a few cocktails and watching everything the river had to show. Keen to return back to dine!
The best long lunch. Seafood platter. Really a very relaxing place.fantastic food.great service. The papaya crab salad to die for Well balanced fresh touch of spicy lime. A bit pricey but you get what you play for. Highly recommend it cheers
This was the second year we have been to the boathouse for Christmas, and it was amazing yet again. The food, ambiance and staff were fantastic, especially Saskia, and our lovely waitress Nicolette. Definitely one of the best ways to do lunch on Christmas Day, really just a great place to go for lunch and dinner on any day. Great job guys
Just had the best take away fish and chips I’ve had in years. Perfectly seasoned chips and crunchy as potato scallops. Barramundi grilled still juicy and batter on the Dory that was nothing short of exceptional. I can’t wait to come back. Great work Noosa Boathouse.
Great view from the Sunset Bar (top level). Great variety of drinks and easy to your table ordering system. Friendly staff.
Best fish and chips i've had in a loooong time! Crispy battered without being oily. Seriously delicious! Had the family pack for 4 with battered dory
The staff were very nice. The meal was average. Overpriced in general and not restaurant quality beef or served as requested.
Staff were so friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond for my partners birthday. Food was fantastic and such a great location. Thank you guys so much, highly recommend.
Ordered the seafood tower.looked impressive.but very disappointed.defrosted bland sea food.nice views.
