I can't say enough good things about Nexus. Warm welcoming and they have taught our kids way more than self defense.

All 3 of our children attend classes at Nexus - One in young adults, one in Panthers and youngest daughter in Little Dragons. They all thrive in the Nexus environment with an amazing Soke, Sensei and Sempai's always encouraging them along the way. The benefits are numerous - while not only learning martial arts, they learn how to defend themselves and they also learn strategies to minimise bullying. The confidence, self-discipline and overall fitness they achieve while in a fun, safe Dojo is priceless and the decision to enrol them is one we would never regret. We highly recommend Nexus Combined Martial Arts for all ages.

Brad, Linda, and their team have boosted my children's confidence to look after each other and be selfless when there is an opportunity. I have confidence that the skills they have learned and consolidated, with further education, they will be able to defend themselves if necessary, and have the ability to help someone else in need. It is a family friendly environment and there is something for all age levels.

A very family friendly focused environment that allows your child to learn essential life skills in a very safe, respectful and fun environment. If you are considering self defence training for your young one, then I cannot recommend Nexus high enough.
Oh did I mention they have self defence classes for women and also adult classes available.

My wife and I enrolled our daughter in the Little Dragons class with great success; she loves the Sempais, Sensei and idolises Soke Brad! She's grown over the last two years into a more wonderful person due in no small part I'm certain to the positive influence of the community and it's leaders! Personally I look forward to her promotion to Panthers and her next challenge. I'm sure it will provide more growth and benefit as Little Dragons did if not more. The ethos and values that Brad and Linda embed in the Nexus style is one of the many reasons we are proud to be part of the Nexus family.

Having seen first hand the positivity espoused by the community and what super role models everyone aspires to be I decided that I could benefit myself from the training and martial arts discipline; I was a little over-weight and needed a focus for myself. I had done Karate as a child and regret that I didn't carry on my training so I was very eager to work towards this particular 'life-goal'. Fast-forward more than a year and here I am with a few gradings done and an absolutely great community behind me, cheering me on (literally) to achieve more and do better! As an adult student the skills and training are extremely engaging; the fitness aspect of each class is great and really complements the Nexus style; being and doing better each day.

More recently, during the COVID-19 lockdown, I cannot overstate the commitment and support the community provided led by Brad and Linda. It was amazing how quickly classes were moved online to enable continued training and how everyone adapted to the restrictions and pulled together as a community!

I've not mentioned the Sensei and Sempai's enough; Nicole, Belinda, Chloe, Heidi, Jessie et al. They are amazing people and I'm pleased to say among good friends I have made during my daughters and my own Nexus journey!
