Newport Marketplace

Such a lovely location and some great business in this location yet on many occasions I’ve visited a few businesses and the air-con hasn’t seemed to be working very well, even to the point they’re using pedi-stool fans just to keep customers happy. This seems to be consistent within the marketplace. It’s especially noticeable on hot days. Had to leave one day and get into my air-conditioned car as this was working better than some of the businesses aircon.

I'm finding I shop here more and more. IGA is great with pensioner's discount every day if you ask for it. They also stock items I can't get anywhere else.

Great shopping centre. Even has EV charging BUT the two spots are not marked and are usually occupied by normal cars. I would give an extra star if the charging bays were marked.

Lovely shopping, only comment would to mark the EV spaces as EV only. Every time I have been here the spaces are taken by non EV's. A bit pointless in its current implementation.

Shame on management for failing to repair the air conditioning at my new favourite local cafe. It's the hottest time of the year and shopping centre management is clearly incompetent in being able to resolve simple issues like this. Businesses are now losing customers as a result of their slow reactions. It's hot for staff and customers. The aircon has been out for weeks. Seriously, do better.

Charging bays for electric cars are not marked and full of Dino burners as I couldn't charge I didn't shop as it was a waste of my time.

Whoever manages this centre must be disorganised or lazy or both! I have had to stop going to my favourite cafe because their air con is broken. It has been broken for a week, and there is no communication about when it will be fixed! I feel sorry for the staff that have to work in stuffy heat! They can put a man on the moon, but this place can’t even fix the air con. What a joke.

As this is a new shopping centre and still a few places to open, it was a great place to visit. Love the coffee shop inside IGA and the coffee and food available was excellent. Unfortunately not a lot if inside seating but on a nice day, plenty of places to sit outside and admire the canal views

This New shopping site at Newport is very nice. Beautiful views of the Marina would be great to take visitors there for lunch/Coffee.
The IGA store is beautifully presented.
