20The best free English Classes - thanks Norma! You are one of the best teacher i have ever met! Joe from Hungary
What a excellent place to go have a bite to eat and all of the staff are so friendly and will go out of thier way just to help you out in whatever you may be needing and wanting two thumbs up
Friendly neighbourhood centre that offers activities, free breakfast, coffee, company, showers, laundry facilities, a GP, physio, acupuncture, various groups, English classes, yoga, playgroup, and so much more. Low cost or no cost servicing the beautiful people in the neighbourhood.
Very clean facility, showers and laundry, computers. Bookings essential for washing. Great proper coffee served with a smile! Recharge devices. No wi-fi. Staff helpful and a friendly bunch of regulars. Lots of regular services.
-1 star for lack of WiFi. Oh and nice park over road!
Great friendly people who go out of their way to help people it is also very quiet and clean. Highly recommended coming to this place.
This place is just wonderful. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly and compassionate people. I’m so grateful for everything they do for me. Free acupuncture, psychology, GP, food, coffees and more. What absolute angels! ️
Incredible absolutely incredible.
Awesome staff and the work they do absolutely helps so many people to help themselves.
Truly a remarkable place with remarkable people.
The services that they provide everyone is a true blessing.
Awesome is the only word that truly describes this wonderful community centre.
Great coffee and a lovely spot. Every week after Chair yoga class many stay for a coffee and a chat!
Doing something for the community. Saw lots of young mums getting together and lots of oldies enjoying their morning cuppa.
I came here to meet Kelli to offer my time in volunteer work, my way of giving back to the community that I love so much. We live in a great city. Lovely place, atmosphere, clean, very friendly and courteous staff. Kelli was able to direct me to volunteering organisations such as Hands on Art, AAA Digital Inclusion program and Resident Age Care Facility programs.
There’s a lot of on street parking
Great community centre, offering many things of interest, Yoga, art classes and other for the less fortunate. A free barista Coffee on arrival to add to the complimentary services. A doctor, physio, and acupuncture J st to name some services. Top ratings, all round great staff catering for all walks of life
I don't go very often anymore, it doesn't seem as community/like since the renovation, and removal of the community coffee cart. Staff are much better though. Miranda is very good in the role of co-ordinator I notice. Calm and capable she seems. Meredith and Adam Briggs amazing as usual, coffee's not bad too.
But yeah these days I go to a different community centre, and they are amazing! West End Community House! My home away from home️
I went there for the first time in years now it's all done up and packed with great friendly staff and community spirit! Much happiness Thank you!
Well, I personally know the place for quite a bit, before the building was updated in what is today. Yes, it's a " life line" for everyone, including me. Thank you.
This is a great place for people experiencing homelessness to see a friendly face, get a meal or have shower.
Staff are lovely
Cheap coffee, helping local community, New Farm locals a lot need help living in a up market suburb, the staff do a good job. Hats off to them.
Most friendly and helpful staff. Delicious Merlo coffee. Gorgeous helpful art teacher too. Thanks from TPH xoxo Mazz
A fantastic community center where meals are available every Tuesday! N. A.meeting every lunchtime at 1.15 pm downstairs so you have to enter from Myrther rd if you wish to enter the center! Tuesdays it starts at 12.45! There is a coffee cart that closes at 12.30 on thecweekdays! There us a pastor to chat to & computers available!
Very friendly and helpful staff, peaceful place. Entry to new premises at 860 Brunswick Street is via the back of the building, on Amelia Street. Parking available. They politely asked us not to walk via the neighbour's alleyway as the neighbours have been complaining about it.
The outdoor area is clean, neat and just a pleasant place to take a breather and have a coffee. The lady on the coffee cart made me the best coffee in Brisbane (this surprised me too), I'm not saying coffee in Brisbane is bad either, this coffee was just simply amazing!
My experience here really just made my day. I had the pleasure of selecting from both The Sydney Morning Herald and The Courier Mail. I know some paper snobs like to claim these fine establishments as purveyors of 'fake news', but I think they need to just read more.
A very high recommendation from me. To the barristers merit, the coffee was the highlight of the day for me.
