Shame on you manager for dishonest behaviour.
We left this place two years ago coz the management on that time was taking money from your card even it is no lessons. Even after multiple attempts no refunds. Finally decided to leave the place and join somewhere else.
Came to back to the place last year as our girls swimming teacher Sharon moved to Nambour Aquatic Centre. When we rejoined, explained the previous bad experience, the current manager said, your lessons will be charged only on the following day. Everything was fine till 1st of November, when lessons were cancelled due to bad weather. Girl from the reception said, payment will be on hold this week, however, it got charged in the next day. 8th November was the last day of the girls lessons (as we given the cancel request already), no payment taken.
But the following week my card got charged again. When I required about this, manager was saying lessons were extended as there was no lessons on 1st of November and the payments were taken only in the following weeks after lessons. It doesn't make sense when someone started making payments from the same week as they started the lessons.
I wasn't asking for free lessons but asking the for the payments which you charged from me even after ceased the lesson.
You are no different from previous manger.
Shame on you Nambour Aquatic Centre

Great covered grandstand, reasonable toilets and change rooms. Starting blocks need replacing in the main pool for competition.

The pool is nice, complex looks clean went there when it was quiet, I don't think I would enjoy it if it was packed with people.

What a great place! Immaculate facilities. Anthony does a marvelous job with the water quality. In fact I have swum in many pools over the years and the water at this place is the best I have ever experienced. I also noticed that he and his colleagues are marvelous with children. The staff (unfortunately don't know their names as yet) have a natural warm friendly manner - always happy to see you there, have a chat and a laugh when they can, whilst working away. The locals that swim there are the same. We are definitely blessed to have such a place here in Nambour.

Really disappointed! After paying to enter and an extra $6.50 each for the slides for my 2 boys, I asked if it was possible to get a pass to return later that same day as we had only spent an hour and my youngest girl who is 1yr old had to go home for a sleep. After paying soo much for a short amount of time there really needs to be a better system supporting families. This place is over priced already for a swimming pool to then also not allow entry and exit passes is beyond a joke.

From fun to some serious exercise.
There is something here for every member of the family.
A great and safe place.

I would give a higher star rating—hell, even 5 stars, for all the space and new slides and acquatic park—if not for the treatment we've received from staffers twice already, who keep on wanting to kick kids out of the kids pool for instructor training. Some seem to clearly be just following their bosses' orders, others seem to revel in their petty authority. Either way, the bosses there need to get this sorted so as not to diminish all the investment they made in the aquatic park.

The pool facilities were excellent, absolutely 5 Star. My daughter loved the little waterpark slides and although it was the first time there the change rooms and toilets looked like they were done up as well.

A little sad to see that the kitchen didn't get any attention. A little word of warning we waited at least 45mins just for a serving of chips.

The staff and service was excellent, extremely patient and first class. You could see how busy they were and they were struggling to keep up.

Keep up the great work and please Nambour council, upgrade the kitchen.

Pool was filthy, I found 2 slugs on the bottom as we were exiting the pool.change rooms smell like urine and are filthy.
After asking and being told we could use the indoor pool by staff at the counter, we walked in and found a quiet area to exercise, the young lifeguard (who I found out later is called Cooper) watched us swim there for over 10 minutes, before abruptly and rudely telling us that we needed to move as the lane was closed. If the pool area is closed, then there should be a sign stating this.

Has a great little kids water park. Brought out the inner child in my wife. Not too busy. Plenty of room in the main pool and good lap scenario for the serious swimmer.

The pool area is great and family friendly except the workers are nasty ladies with horrible attitudes, made us leave feeling horrible after spending a whole day there spending money at their centre. Need better customer service especially towards children

Place is nice but a lifeguard kept blowing her whislte constantly, she is very rude, and was having a go at other parents and children. Made the day very unpleasant

We are locals to Nambour Aquatic centre. The pools are good, the new splash park is good for younger children (although my 10 yr old has been caught enjoying its spouts). The bigger slides once built will hopefully be good for the older ones.
The bathrooms need an upgrade but that is in the master plan I believe.

The new waterpark is amazing, it’s just a shame about the lady who obviously didn’t want to be at work today (the one with the short hair, yelling at young children) for Australia Day. The lady grabbed my 3yr olds arm twice to yell at him, he was just going down the slide on his tummy but don’t mind the multiple people going down together and kids one after the other with no space. Then she proceeded to make rude comments about a man with tattoos being invincible. Seriously lady if you don’t like kids get a different job! I’m am soooo appalled by her attitude and balls grabbing my child and yelling him, he is nervous enough without you lady berating him in front of everyone!

Such a great pool, plenty of space with a wonderful and dedicated team of swim teachers. The teachers are so dedicated and technical, I can't thank them enough for teaching my two children life saving skills.

Am not happy how they have treated me.
I was member of the nambour swimming pool last year when they closed because of Covid-19 and I paid $189 membership for 3 months. They reopened probably June and I got a call about my membership from the facility. She said I can use the membership again. I told her that I don't feel like starting now so can I start later and she said I can start whenever I feel like it in the future. I'm a beginner at swimming and I'm not confident to swim so I lost little bit interest in swimming and I'm working aged care so I was so tired to start swimming again as well. So I didn't start till this year January.
When I come back the pool a manager told me you came back too late so she can give me only a month but I have 40days left.
She said it's your problem and they closed only a month so I could have started anytime. I don't think so, They closed March and I got a call was June so it was more than a month.
Yeah I understand your situation but I'm not happy to get only 28days and don't want to waste my time to argue with the manager so I accepted however I will never be back after 28days. I feel they have misled me and possibly others by taking advantage of the bad situation caused by Covid.
This is not the way to treat paying customers, especially those who were planning on spending a lot more time at the pool.
