My Country Escape

I absolutely love visiting My Country Escape. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The entire shop smells gorgeous with so many beautiful products. There are huge bunches of fresh flowers and plants available from Lydia’s Garden. Best place in Canungra.

Canungra’s hidden secret. Good old fashioned customer service with very helpful, friendly staff. I can always find a gift for someone or pick up a beautiful bouquet for my Mrs.

I was a local loyal customer for 5 years until now, I tried to return an item which did not suit my needs and was told by the owner I was 2 days out of a 14 day return policy. Xmas and new year holidays had been in that period. I had my receipt. I was told to regift it! Loyalty stands for nothing nodays. Myself and others will not go back.

Absolutely love this store! The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and never fail to make people feel welcome. Everything in the shop is of exceptional quality, I'm never disappointed. And of course the flowers are as beautiful as the florist. A must visit if you're in Canungra.

The staff at My Country Escape are always a joy to see. They go out of their way to ensure customers find the perfect gift. I can always find clothes that are different from other stores. I always go in there whenever I am in Canungra and invariably find something I would love to own.

This place is fantastic, super friendly staff and very helpful. Also the flowers are always a winner when i take them home for the dear wife. 100% my go to place for good reasonably priced gift. Would give it 10 starsif i could.

The range of lux homewares is amazing. A fabulous range of women’s fashion. I love that there’s a florist in store. Lydia’s garden flowers are next level. It’s my go to shop whenever I’m in Canungra. A lovely shop to browse in.

I bought a stunning bouquet of flowers from Lydia’s Garden (inside My Country Escape). She has some beautiful arrangements and stems, as well as dried flowers and wreaths. Very friendly, good prices.

Best little retail shop around. Kakadu plum shampoo is the absolute best around does wonders for hair.

The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Never hesitating to lend a helping hand. With its amazing products and clothes 100% worth a visit

This is such a delightful pocket of fun where you feel like you are in the heart of the country…. But you are only 40 mins from the Gold Coast. Definitely worth the trip. The team are warm and welcoming and you can find something for everyone. Great one stop shop!

I love this store. And I have recently bought some flowers from Lydia’s Garden which is part of My Country Escape. So much love and attention is in the arrangements. I bought a single rose for someone special and 8 days later it still look newly picked.
Highly recommend.

Saw a clock in the window when I was driving past. Called up to see how much it was.

Was told $170, so I turned around and drove back to get it. Just to arrive & be told its $210.

Should have been given to me at the price I was told, not my mistake, it was theirs.

Will never come here again!

Such a beautiful corner in the main street of Canungra. Beautiful staff member and beautiful hand made soaps and lovely beautiful things all shapes and sizes. Please visit this shop, you will love it.

Always Love going into My Country Escape.
Today I bought a lovely linen dress and I'm always uplifted by seeing anything in the lines of French Provincial Decore.
Michelle is very friendly and accommodating.
Her store adds to the Ambience of Canungra.

Such a beautiful wonderful shop full of many varied trinkets, clothes, leather goods, flowers and high quality craft items. A great place for gift buying or spoiling yourself. On a bigger plus it's very reasonable in prices.
