Murrumba Downs Swimming Pool

I love the big sunshade over two thirds of the pool. Easy parking (we went during the week). Staff were friendly. Showers were quite dirty (make sure you pack thongs!). It’s a 25 m pool. School groups come throughout the day but there was still a lane all to ourselves for my friend and I.

Best family leaisure pool with wonderful kids pool. My Son is undergoing swimming lessons every weekend and it is a good spot to practice. Pleasant staffs and professional instructors makes this place all the time welcoming.

Poor service, staff locked the disabled toilet denying our disabled daughter access. Rude staff, poor advice for Lifeguards to take send non swimmers to the deep end.

Rude staff! Not suitable for casual swimming at all. 19 of us went down for a swim late Saturday morning, only to be met with rude staff that made us feel so unwelcomed. Out of the 19,11 where kids from ranging from 7 months to 14yrs (most being under 10) and they expected us to swim in a corner in the deep end! They ended up opening a 2nd lane for us in the shallow end only to then complain we had to many people In the 2 lanes they provided. And to top it all off they locked the disabled toilet after my disabled niece used it to change into her swimming gear leaving her with nowhere suitable to change back onto dry clothes. I understand there where lessons happening and other swimmers but if you knew you didn't have the room to facilitate us all, why not say that at entry instead of taking our money and making us feel like garbage.

Horrible service: (they tried to make little kids ages 6 and under all go swim in the deep end due to lap swimmers, after we were told we could use lanes 1 to 6 they made our holiday "fun" an awful experience: (kids were just trying to have a good time and these men were awful, to top it all off they lock my disabled daughter out of disable toilet so there was no suitable change area: (20/03/21,10am.

Why the one star!
Well all I remember is the pool’s right lane was too small for 2 families with 5 children each And another family with 3 children.

I went there for my one hour swimming practice and i think the staff member forgot to mention about the families and children visit to swimming pool.

He also forgot to mention about the stares I am going to get if try to swim in swimming pool.
So yea it’s better to confirm first thn visit.
I left within 5 minutes although I paid full amount
So yeah na!

Lovely and quiet, a 50 metre pool half shaded and immaculate showers and toilets. Pool is slightly heated so very comfortable

We enjoy this pool! Clean facilities too & plenty of space. Great spot for families or lap swimming! Lifeguard supervising.

Seemed pricey for a one-off casual swim given the size, amenities and pool on offer. That being said, everything was clean and well maintained and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Love taking my family to this pool, friendly staff and the facilities are always clean, keep up the good work.

Convenient pool to go to if you live in the area. Staff aren't organised and I'd say poorly trained if at all. If I didn't have to interact with the staff on arrival I'd rate this place higher.

Services are high quality. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend the children's swimming lessons. The position adjacent to the Undurba and Murrumba Downs schools is very convenient.

Not respectful staff, feelings uncomfortable for diverse people. The manager talks like a racist. They care about money more than people.

We had a wonderful day, kids enjoyed themselves. Staff there today was very lovely and always made sure everyone was ok.

I have been swimming here for 8 years and my son who is now in squad basically learned to swim here.
The staff are like family. It’s a great pool and great atmosphere.
I just love it and so does my son.

Fantastic outdoor pool which is heated. Note, there is no kiddy pool. Entry fees are very affordable. The bathrooms/change rooms are neat and clean with hot water for a comfortable after swim shower.
Staff are very friendly and make coming here very welcoming.
My children also do swimming lessons here and their instructors are fantastic with them.
Unfortunately, being an outdoor pool, they do close during winter. During these months you can opt to pause swimming lessons and resume when they reopen or if you want to keep them going with North Lakes Aquatic Centre (which is like their sister-pool) during this time.
