Mooloolaba Marina reviews
30 Lovely venue, marina views, good attentive serving staff,
We were a table of 10, with only 2 other patrons dining, so could not understand waiting 1 1/2 hours for our food.
My food was delicious.
Tried booking a berth for a 45ft yacht with a full comprehensive insurance policy with ION. The marina refused to berth the vessel saying they don't accept this companys insurance policy. I would like to know how many actual claims this marina has had with this particular insurance company and if so the negative reasons behind it and the decision to ban vessels holding these insurance policies? The continual degradation of facilities for which the cruising yachtsman had the use of for rest, repair, and re-provision of their vessels has disappeared! The Marinas have turned into Glorified Caravan Parks that are more intent on catering to the Sunday morning crowds approval for how good their Eggs Benedict is rated and the o so lovely view of the boats etc. Yes another place that has obviously taken that final step to ridiculous
Nice place to visit, to go diving, however I'm deducting a point because it was super busy on a Saturday at about 11: 45 am in winter.
Great place to visit. Restaurants, food shops, clothing shops, hotel, bottle shop and water world. A must to visit.
Excellent marina, lovely grassy area with BBQs and clean toilets. Friendly staff. Just a good solid operation.
Had another BBQ with my partner and had a walk along the spit so relaxing with plenty of shade
Venue is great. Prices getting a bit exxy Cheapest bottle of wine is $53. All in all always have a good time
I go there for my fresh seafood every year for Christmas. It is the best seafood on the coast anywhere. There are a couple of wholesalers I go to Rockliff seafoods, they are bloody awesome!
Great marina! Across the street from the ocean beach. Choice of seafood all around. Parks and walk tracks. Shopping close. Worth a visit
A fabulous friendly modern Marina. Absolutely fantastic location. Across the street from the beach. Near the fish markets and all the Cafes and restaurants of Mooloolaba.
Sharon and Julia in the office are so helpful and friendly. They both went above and beyond to find a berth for us to move to, when we had to extend due to foul weather. Great little laundromat too. Reasonable rates for berths.
Large area with green space opposite. Retail precinct with many food options. A few tours leave from this area as well. Fish and chip shop and top restaurants as well. Carparking but be aware of trailerparking areas only.
Very sunny with great atmosphere and positive sea vibes and perfect time for a nice quiet seafood lunch and a stroll along the sand:)
Great place great parks, eateries and places to buy seafood, plus boat builders and repairers, definitely worth the visit
A lovely marina. Wide fairways between berths. Clean showers, toilets and laundry.conveniently located close to town, restaurant, fresh seafood suppliers and walkway which runs from the headland to the main beach and beyond.
Beautiful marina, price is fair and facilities are nice and clean. Be aware of one of the tradies working there, Alex, agressive and really disrespectful. We were sailing the east coast, had to stopped in Mooloolaba to make some repairs, before leaving the marina he ended up saying that we will have another breakdown in the boat again. You should never say that to somebody that is about to go out sailing.
At Pier 33. A great place for a get together. Reasonable prices for drinks and snacks of high quality. Suggest to try the amazing coffee martinis.
Excellent Restaurant there, Pier 33, great service, and the food is to die for. That's if you love seafood,
The location is nice, however the rates are on the higher side and that is not reflected in the condition of the facilities which could use a refurbishment. The Pier 33 restaurant can get noisy into the night and plenty of noise from the fishing boats as well if you end up on the jetty on that side.
Staff are good, showers are excellent (good waterflow, nice and hot), marina pass system works well, docks are in good condition, no problems with power or water. No close cafe or reasonably priced restaraunt nearby, but there are shops a 10 minute walk down the road.
Docking a full star because there is no Wifi, and I really care about internet connectivity when I hit land.
