Mooloolaba Bowls Club

For starters bar service was okay, moving into the dining room, decor is dainty very old fashioned boring and lacked anything close to vibrant, the menu was basic and boring, the food was absolutely atrocious my wife had ordered a hot chicken schnitzel with gravy and vegetables, chicken was under cooked and vegetables were rotten and have obviously been frozen then re heated in the microwave, bland and tasteless, onto my own meal I asked for the chicken parmigiana with chips and salad, chicken was not cooked and was pushed under the grill to melt that cheese and that’s as far as it was cooked, chips were freeze dried and soggy, my Diane gravy had been frozen and then heated in a microwave, that salad have rotten rocket and no dressing and bland, the overall meals were a disgrace that it was served to paying customers, it’s as though the cooks just want to get everything out as quick as possible without any care for the food or customers. Do not recommend this place for a meal!

The most disgusting meal We have ever had. 1 star is actually overrated. Ordered starters cheesy garlic bread and wedges which came out cold with mains. Sour cream that was supposed to be served with wedges was actually butter! Battered fish was disgusting. Paid for extra mushroom gravy for schnitzel, got 1 tiny little container. Vegetables with schnitzel were overcooked and shrivelled. Chips soggy. No personality behind the counter. Barman however was awesome.

Nice to see good bowling club like this one. We can't wait to go back and play bowls.

Mooolaba Bowls Club had great meals at reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly. I have eaten here various times.

Nice quiet lunch on a Saturday. Meals were of good value, but only pizzas has GF option. Very quick service.

Had our xmas party here n was a great night. They should call in bowl in your thongs though no bare foot

Lovely staff. Drinks are cheaper then anywhere else. Went last night good music. Their garlic cheesy bread is yummy

Most disgusting meal ever asked for no chips plate full of them mushroom sauce disgusting chicken snizetel was saturated with oil salad old enough to vote got the lunch time speacils was told 10 percent surcharge when added up was $7.00 dollars to much asked for a receipt to query charge amazing could not get it up to print one gentleman walked off to let young girl to deal with it what a joke left meal complained to woman at desk and she stated wasn’t the best meals and would let manager know of complaint I don’t know the people who have put their reviews on here but must be easy to please never coming back for a meal hasn’t been good for a long time the pub up the road serves way better meals for less

Great club with friendly and courteous staff. Love the twilight bowls on Wednesday nights. Bistro has improved greatly with the new chef.

Great to meet Jack, a sustainabilty focused leader and see the changes in the past and see future step changes. Great Club!

Overall, really nice venue.

Staff were fantastic, food servings were generous, well priced and the club itself is spacious.

Undercover bowling as well as shaded outside areas.

Gluten free menu items and a great experience.who could say no to that!

Great place to have social bowls or to learn the game.you can bowl strickly for fun or get coaching and play competition. Bar staff are fantastic and will send you in the right direction

Celebrating a birthday in the function room it was great service nice nibblies and a great room for a big function. Great position heaps parking.

Nice bowls club, friendly staff and nice food. Parking can be limited due to size of carpark. Noisy at present during day outside due to roadworks directly outside and traffic.

Nice local, poker tournaments are a great rainy weather activity and the bowls facilities look great.
Food is good, make sure to keep an eye out for large groups going up to order, you don’t want to get stuck behind them!

Ordered first on my table (of 20) one of the last to get food. Steak was cold! Worst meal I’ve ever had! Rubbish service, never coming back here again!

Dropped in for lunch on the way back home after a soggy hike around Ewan Maddock dam. (Make sure you include the Brown Loop on your hike) We were blown away by the friendly staff, excellent food and chilled music. Have driven past here many times without giving it a second thought. Is now on my top 10 casual eating places on the Sunshine Coast.

We had an awesome evening, especially due to your amazing staff. Shahni and Macca are an absolute credit to your business. Five stars for both of these staff members.

We recently held a function here and we were not disappointed. The entire staff from the moment of first engagement right through to the function were amazing and very accommodating for our team (both adults and children). Food was delicious and filling. Great family friendly spot for a fun day out, we will definitely be back. Thank you Lou, Ray and all the team that worked to make our event a huge success, we are very grateful.:)

Nice looking bowls club which was in walking distance from our motel. Just happened to be holding Champion of Champion fours when we arrived which was great to watch. Went there today to watch bowls finals. Two undercover carpet greens. Had good speed and most bowlers didn't seem to have any problems with line or length. Nice bar and plenty of parking. Also has a bowls shop within the premises.
