This is my experience. Don’t call the main phone line, they never answer. I called twice, pressed a button for a call back eventually.
Got called back after 20min.
Booked appointment.
Turned up and was greeted by very friendly receptionist and consultant.
Did a questionnaire on an iPad.
Had the consultation and was told NO my skin type 4 would be to dark and hard for the colour green to be taken out. To depth, and the risk involved was not worth it. They didn’t want to risk my beautiful face.
I’m not super tan, just honey coloured olive skin. The consultant got the Lead Laser manager in, who gave the same conclusion and said there was nothing that could be done, maybe more Saline Gel.
I was shocked but sadly left.
Did some research, and got 3 other opinions. All of the other laser clients opinion were confused and laughed at me. Darker skin does mean a deeper wave length, it aimed at deeper skin and the Melanin at the top doesn’t get damaged. There is a laser and a wavelength for every type of tattoo, and you do a test prior to see if there is a bad reaction before proceeding.
In the end, I went to Image by Laser and they got about 80% of it out, so happy with the results in just 4 minutes. They even used the same laser as this company used. I don’t know why this company said I was to high risk, but seeking alternative industry leaders opinion changed me from having a permanent tattoo on my face to having it 80% gone in a couple of minutes. Maybe because I have a darker skin, they avoid it for PR purposes. Light skinned people may be easier and in turn less 1* reviews.

Jesse is an angel! He has been so helpful during the beginning of my removal process and I'm grateful for him and the team. I would 100% recommend this place. It isn't an easy process but I value the care and energy they put into their clients.

I had my first session with Tash recently and I cannot recommend her enough. She was extremely supportive of my removal as well as a great person to have a laugh with. I was initially very nervous about having laser but she helped to put me at ease. Looking forward to next sesh!:)
