Amazing customer service! I noticed marks on the back of my husbands suit 2 days before our wedding. The man at the shop (I think his name was Benjamin) went above and beyond to exchange the jacket but also get it altered again under 24 hours, ready for the wedding! I can’t be more thankful for the help in the moment of panic.

My wife, our 2 kids and my self went into the store looking for a new shirt and tie for my sister's up coming wedding.

We were greeted by a smiling energetic sale person which later found out was called Taylor.

Taylor was so welcoming whilst not been overpowering in presence which made us feel so comfortable in the store right away.

Taylor was quick to engage in conversation and understand what I was looking for and immediately went to get a shirt for sizing from out the back.

Once tried on felt great size but to further supply an awesome service Taylor offered alternative style to compare options which gave me a better understanding of what fitted me correctly.

Then Taylor took the time to show what ties looked good with the shirt my wife had chosen me and even compared it with a black jacket so I could see what it would look like with my suit at home.

We were short for Time as going to movies with kids and Taylor with her awesome efficient service made the process so easy.

I will be shopping here again for sure and letting friends and family know also to look here.

The best customer service experience I have ever had at the Chermside store. Isabella went above and beyond for my partner & his groomsmen for our wedding. She was so thorough and explained everything and gave excellent recommendations. She continuously followed up to ensure we were happy with the suits and if we needed anything else. My fiancé booked me into Chermside MJ Bale today. Before I went in I already new non of the suits would fit me and I probably was going to waste my time. Dylan who looked after me changed my entire attitude. I normally buy Hugo Boss suits, however Dylan was super attentive, personal, knowledgeable and passionate. He knew exactly what he was doing and really took the time to take care of us. I walked out with an amazing suit. An older gentlemen (staff member) with strange haircut literally said to me that “ I work here and you’re invisible” after I had been waiting with shirts in hand to purchase for 15 minutes without service. Strongly recommend wintergarden over this store.

Benjamin was extremely helpful today when my fiancé and I went in to pick his grooms suit. We had previously had a poor experience at the Peter Jackson store in Chermside, so I recommend coming in here for great service!

Tessa and Moses were absolutely amazing to deal with. They gave great advice and were really thorough and patient. Highly recommend booking in with them if you have a wedding party to get suited up.

Went to M. J. Bale, Chermside for my wedding suit. Moses served me - I have never encountered such fantastic customer service; the kid is an absolute superstar. Couldn't be happier with my experience! I'll be back to fetch my suit when time permits, and in the future, M. J.will be my preferable destination when shopping for formal wear. Thanks so much!

What is it about the bad customer service at suit stores - maybe I just went on a bad day but the two blokes in there did not offer any assistance whatsoever. Was looking for a suit for my wedding and best man - after being in the store for 10-15mins (only ones in store), they were more interested talking among themselves than anything else. Didn't even try make eye contact, even walked passed us at one point. Ended up going elsewhere. Not hard to ask if we need assistance seeing as you work in customer service.

Excellent service by Mel and the team today. Every time you walk into the store you’re welcomed and the staff take a genuine interest in how they can help and hit the target time after time. Definitely recommended giving MJ Bale a try over your usual men’s stylist - I have no doubt you’ll be impressed.

Went in on Sunday (4 April) with a friend looking for a suit for him. 2 staff members were 'working' but we were offered zero assistance despite my friend trying jackets for size right in front of them (no other customers in store at the time). He found a suit he liked and after we managed to find pants in his size he went to go to the change room. Before he went in, one of the staff feigned interest but when my friend mentioned having the sleeves slightly lengthened the staff member cut him off and said it was not possible, and basically said the suit wouldn't work for him, and insinuated there was no point in him even trying it on. We were rather taken aback by his attitude and left the store. Your loss Chermside. We went to the Carindale store the next day, were helped by some wonderful staff and walked out with the exact same suit - which is currently with a tailor having the sleeves lengthened ;)

I was in a wedding party for a friend and we were excited to use mj bale as our suit store. We all found the suits we wanted and the price wasn't outrageous. But oh boy did we pay the price. So it all started when we dealt with one employee who seemed to know exactly what she was doing and ordered our suits. Then we found out 2 weeks later after hearing nothing that she was fired and they hadn't been ordered at all. So we chalked it up to a bad employee, so we re-ordered the suits with another employee. We waited about a week with the wedding deadline approaching fast. Then we went back into the store and the lady who had been apparently "fired" had the GALL to still be working there. She told us that there was no news of her being fired and that half the suits were not on their way. So we re-ordered again after being told they'd bring it to us by hand. We only ended up getting the suits barely a week before the wedding. We understand there can deliver issues but the communication between employees and the head office was miserable. NEVER COMING BACK *HUMPH*

I was served by Moses and he was fantastic, extremely professional and ready to help me with my purchase and to lend advice regarding the fitting. 10/10 will be back again.
