Mitchelton Football Club reviews
14The dirt car park has no signage for no parking so it's possible to be parked in, very frustrating. Otherwise, good fields etc
No sense of community. All that matters to this club is their image and reputation. Very dissapointing.
Guess what they got a Bar.so walk/run there go around the grounds and then have sneaky drink.exercise done! Byo ya own dog! BYOD!
A fantastic local sporting club
Picturesque surrounds of Teralba Park
Family friendly
Friendly staff
Love this place, great area for kids to run around and host birthday parties. Always take my border collie for a walk through the park off lead and he loves it.
There is also a little open area in the creek behind the Mitchelton soccer club house where you can take your kids or pets for a little swim and paddle.
Not ideal, no change rooms organised for many visiting teams, parking is off the round and on dirt area. Not enough seating for viewers and food is over priced
Great Fields for playing sports Bbq facilities there. Great place to take your dog for a walk or exercise even a slowing running creek for your dog to have a quick dip or swim
Kids have been playing here for 7 years. Now has a synthetic pitch and it's a great addition to an already excellent facility. Can be a bit hard to park on days where many teams are playing but back streets are always an option. Canteen sells all sorts of hot and cold food and snacks and the bar is great for a hot afternoon.
.
My first visit to with my daughters gc team.great set up.awesome food and my brother appreciated the $5 coronas!
Most unorganised sports club I've been involved with. No communication with parents and when you enquire you are spoken to like it is your fault they didn't send the email or update their website. We were going to change clubs after last season but my stepson wanted to stay with his friends. We're two training sessions in and already regretting it.
Higher divisions may be better, but our team has been told several times this year we are only playing "community soccer" so his division doesn't matter.
Not a very nice experience over the past two seasons.
Our sons been playing at Mitchy for the past 3 years and he is really enjoying his time at the club. The calibre of coaching staff is excellent.
The way they do the team selections is very professional and its not who your parent is etc that determines your selection which is refreshing from the club we were at.
The new look cafe is awesome especially with improved selection of food and not running out of drinks by the Sunday.
I'm looking forward to seeing the club as it changes with the upgrades that are scheduled, especially the astro turf as the grounds are looking a little sad at the moment. Mitchy on 3!
Great club. Coaching, admin, player development, canteen, facilities comparable to other big clubs. Parking can be a nightmare on training nights and game days but this is due in part to the massive numbers of members and popularity of the club. Fields notably suffering in the drought (like everywhere else). Family friendly for sure.
Brilliant, probably the best football club in the world. Better facilities than Barcelona, better history than Manchester United, better supporters than Dortmund, more loyalty than Roma and better players than Real Madrid.
Avoid this club.there is very little or no support 4 lower div teams plus the club is 2 big and un organized.we moved 2 a new and fantastic club in 2016 and it is a wonderful club with amazing support.and a great soccor atmosphere 4 our son
