Mini Car Rental has a blog in Japanese that explains how to rent and return a rental car, so if you read it in advance, you can rent it with peace of mind.
There was also a Japanese staff member, who taught me about things I was worried about, such as how to fill up with gas. You can rent with confidence~
I asked for a transfer to the airport, and the driver was a very cheerful person, and I was very happy that he cared about my family. (Apparently it was the store manager's father)

I have hired the car for 2 days. We received a damaged car that had an accident from the back. We took it as it was working fine. On our way we had to use the boot, put our stuff in there and could not get them back as the boot didn’t opened. I called them and solution was calling racq or lay back seat to get your staff.
I would not recommend renting from them as l felt being cheated by not telling me the car is damaged and their excuses for cheating on me was we are small business, we cannot hold on our cars.

Had a couple of days free up at short notice and the mini team helped get us on the road in their Mustang within minutes. Car presented nice and clean. And the soft top allowed us to get as much out of the drive to Port Douglas as possible. Thanks again

From the moment I rang I got through to a friendly member of staff who was very helpful and offered me the best price for what I was looking for. I was sent a payment link which was easy to secure the booking. I was seen to quickly when I got to the office and the process was easy and no hassle. The car was clean and full tank of fuel, the other member of staff showed me around it, took photo's of any existing damage and I was then ready to go. I had to leave the car back after hours and I was told how to do that, I found this straight forward and had no issues leaving the car back. The car drove well and I was happy with my whole experience.

Friendly & Professional Service. The lady provided me with a map and marked out the best route to follow to visit the Waterfalls and landmarks. It was the cheapest bar far when I researched hire cars and the service was priceless.

A refund was offered for returning the vehicle the day prior to end of contract. The vehicle was returned but credit for one day not allowed.
Overall the experience was good but next time we'll end the contract the day prior to our departure.
