The food was incredible. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!

The steak was cooked very well but that's about all we enjoyed. The entrees were disappointing and the dining chairs were uncomfortable

I just can't adequately describe how good the steak is here.we had a family gathering where pretty all on offer was sampled.everyone commented on the quality and taste.the meals are well priced.the service is great and the experience was such we can't wait to return

Went to this steakhouse after driving past it, upon arriving through middle of the week i was really surprised on how busy it was, BOOKINGS A MUST, however didn’t worry me as i ordered for takeaway.

Great vibes inside and service was really pleasant. I ordered a half and half ribs and prime rib steak.

It was one of the best red meats i have eaten in my time. HOWEVER red meats can sometimes cause certain people bowel issues with it digesting red meat, for me it can sometimes be very mild that this happens, up until trying Mikes Kitchen, even though it was delicious and i could almost counter that it was worth it but i woke up with incredible bowel pain and have for a few days and other issues in the back sector, so possibly food poisoning? Or the fact it was my first smoked meat? , but the i did share a portion of my meal with my 2 doggies and they seem to have a sore stomach as it almost seems they are matching mine as well…. They are doing alit better then me though haha.

Overall id suggest it was a once off possibly? But would like to know if anyone else had issue that night too?

I will try again and be back though.

Delicious food, specifically the steak was cooked to perfect. Our waitress Victoria was lovely and was very attentive the whole night despite the restaurant being packed. Would definitely visit again

Amazing steaks and ribs but also chicken and fish options available also.

Book in advance to secure a seat as it is a popular restaurant and you will find it is normally booked out. Large groups will want to book 2-4 weeks in advance.

Over Hyped and Over Priced. Priced at an American BBQ but offering bland broiled ribs.
Was expecting the feeling when you first have Tony Roma's ribs but the magic just wasn't there.

Some things just never change & that’s a good thing in this case!
I reckon it would be 20yrs since I had these ribs when Mikes were at Robina Town Centre and tonight they tasted exactly the same as back then, absolutely mouthwatering and I’ve never had ribs like them anywhere.
You don’t know how pleasing it was seeing that same Mikes window inside the diner and the memories of that beautiful food came flooding back.
Service was outstanding and atmosphere was cozy and excellent.

Thanks for having us. It was a busy evening but the staff still managed and remembered my birthday thank you. The food was great I haven't had ribs for many years it was huge and yummy it was my first time eating snails and I'm impressed.

Good food and great service, not as good as it used to be, food used to be more traditional South African food, now however there are only a couple of options, desserts drinks and boerwors.

Not impressed with the initial customer service. Tried to call ahead multiple times on a Monday from 5 -6pm to see if any availabilities for the night with no answer. Decided to risk it being a Monday night and showed up to no availability. The girl told me to plan ahead, I mentioned I tried to call multiple times and received a dismissive response of "we get calls all the time" as if that was an acceptable excuse for not answering the phone. No care, no empathy.

Busy atmosphere, I recommend booking in advance! Fantastic wait service. Efficient & professional staff. Lighting is created to set an mood however is a little more dark than desirable & would benefit from being slightly more lit up. Food was prompt to be prepared. Flavoursome meals, well sized also.

The food is delicious. We ordered steaks medium rear and they were cooked perfectly. I ordered the mussel topping and my husband ordered the farmhouse and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and byo.
