I wrote a review for this medical practice a few years ago and it wasn’t a very good one. Too many locums. So this is my new review. Even walking into the Clinic now the vibe is 100% better which is due to the new Receptionist Lorna who is a gem who treats every patient with respect, she even knows regular patients names. Regular Nurse Donna is also a gem.
The arrival of Dr Venu has drawn people, especially older people like me, back to this once busy Medical Clinic. He is another gem. I will now recommend this practice to my friends and family.

I have been coming to this practice now for 7 years. The practice is local and in walking distance to where I live. I have found all the staff and doctors to be nice and friendly they always welcome me when I arrive to see the doctor. My daughter also coke here as well.

This was once an amazing Medical Practice much used by the elderly residents of a nearby Retirement village. I started with Brad but over the last few years we have seen many locum doctors employed, some amazing ones. When John Houston retired recently many were hoping for a permanent caring replacement.
Looking at your site today you have one permanent Doctor who I chose not to ever visit again, a part time really good Dr and one who I really liked but won’t be permanent due to her work Visa.
Receptionist …once amazing and friendly service and now not nice at all. We are all looking for better options in our old age.

The receptionist there is so rude - she must really hate her job, maybe she should retire so someone positive and polite can welcome patients. Despite having an appointment, I left as her manner was just so unacceptable. I have seen Dr Houston for over 20 years and Dr Patel is awesome - just wish I could bypass the receptionist!

One of the best medical practices I've ever be to, we have been to so many others with our kids and when we moved decided to use this practice. I feel if we didn't ever use this medical practice we wouldn't of ever have gotten the help or the care we needed for our son Connor who has down syndrome. The medical practice have really caring supportive receptionist and also doctors to help you out there and beyond. Many thanks again to everyone at Miami village medical practice for everything you have done

The Doctors I have seen at this practice, Dr Brad Keating and Doctor John Houston have been fantastic Doctors, Always feel at ease at this practice. Everybody is always pleasant here, the Staff and nurses always say hello when I'm in the waiting room. Now that Doc Houston has retired, I will have to find a new doctor, always hard to do unfortunately.

My family and I have been patients of Doctor Houston's for nearly 3 decades. I would sincerely like to thank Liz Dickson (receptionist) for her friendly and compassionate nature over this time. Liz has always gone above and beyond her role to help patients with their various needs whilst maintaining a professional attitude. I hope to see Liz's friendly face for the next decade. Thank you!

Had a shocking experience yesterday, a doctor rushed my son through his appointment after he was sent home from day care with a temp of 39 degrees. The doctor said it’s just a fever and will sleep it off and could return to daycare tomorrow.

My wife felt rushed so decided to see another doctor, they found he had tonsillitis! He would need a ten day antibiotic treatment.

After reading other reviews it would appear getting patients in and out quickly is practiced daily, this is why people are losing trust in our health systems.

Won’t be using this medical Center ever again.

I have been going there 12 years and have left and now come back mainly because it's close to home but the reception girls 'go out of their way' to help me they know what I mean? Leanne is a gem! Carol too! New doctor Patel could be their next asset.they seem under the pump there though.love Cath

I’ve been attending this clinic for about 8 years, since my first child. Dr. Houston is wonderful, he’s been looking after our growing family. Although I’ve seen a lot of the different doctors here, and all have been great.
The nurses, receptionists, & doctors know our family and always make us feel cared for. I cannot recommend it enough.
If one of my kids need urgent care the receptionists are wonderful, and always try to fit us in where they can. It’s above and beyond.

Dr Nikki Yates - I went to her for pain killers for my hand as I had surgery on Monday for Dupatron on 4 of my fingers. On Wednesday I made an appointment for another script for painkillers as my hand was still quite painful as it was only 2 days after my procedure.
Dr Yates did not ask to look at my hand just recommend Panadol and Nurofen. When I asked her for stronger pain relief as I had run out, Dr Yates said that as I was a new patient she could not subscribe them to me. She could have called the mater hospital or my specialist I had the release form from the Mater hospital with me did the bare minimum not good enough!

Like family to us.
We are always welcomed and I'm so terrible at being on time, it's not funny!

Dr. Ray Warner is a very uncaring and cold Doctor. Book in with any other doctor to save yourself hassle. You will not get care. I also saw him be rude to an elderly man, he doesn’t have respect for people, wish I could have spoke up.

I used to get an appointment any day as a walk in here and I would always enjoy seeing Dr Keating. I recently called and was spoken to in a rude and condescending manner, even though I had been a regular patient here for over ten years. I was given a flat out 'NO' to a walk in appointment and was told that 'doctor doesn't like walk ins! ' Furthermore, when I enquired as to wether Dr Keating was in attendance I was told in a patronising tone that he hadn't been working there for over a year.the receptionist then hung up on me.

I have been attending Dr J Houston for more than twenty years.
I always receive first class service from the reception staff, nursing and of course Dr Houston.
All are so caring and courteous even when very busy.
Thank you John.
Regards, Reg Hogan.
