Miami Aquatic Centre reviews
23Awesome centre. Amazing energy in the mornings with the elite squads and mad swimmers lapping up and down. Ok coffee from the cafe too! Friendly staff. Been excellent whilst Palm Beach pool gets sorted…
2x 50m Pools + a huge learn to swim pool and water fun area for little kids. Great location, well maintained facilities. Great for competition, learn to swim lessons and family fun
Accompanied our daughter & grandson for his swim class. Very well set up & pretty busy in all the various pools.
One of the best swimming pool Centre on Gold Coast, especially for kids. Always full of parents and kids, friendly and warm atmosphere
Ample free parking. Easy access. Good restaurant with cool water point. The water play area is very convenient while events take place in the pools.
My grand dauggter has been learning swimming there from childhood 3 years age now 9 yreas old. Beautiful ambience facilities for swimming for all ages. Enough car park area and other infrastructure
Fantastic facility. I use the indoor heated pool for walking and slow lap swimming. You need to time visit in between swimming lessons.
Great facilities, Deep Water Running class is great. Everything is clean and well kept. Pools are beautiful.
We go there for the toddler pool. It is pretty well designed (apart from the edging which tears up the top of kids’ feet, so they always come out bleeding and have to heal for the week ahead). We have started putting waterproof Band-AIDS across the tops of their feet now to stop this happening as they climb out of the pool.
It is very expensive however which is mostly the 3 star review. Just shy of $10 for you to take your tot there as they charge mostly for the adult fare (I’m not going swimming myself - I’m there to ensure a safe swimming experience for my child as a minder), so this is off putting, but it’s the best we have in the area until Palm Beach re-opens.
I’ve been taking my son for swimming lesson for quite a while however I’m disappointed on how management allow having 5 kids in such a small area! The max is 4 kids!
I’m paying for my son to learn how to swim and not to wait
Other than that the place is great
Had the most amazing time here with my kids! We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and the outdoor lap pool. The shower rooms and toilets were clean, and we were so surprised to find body shampoo dispensers available in every shower area. We also loved how inclusive and purpose-built this facility is. Can’t rave this place enough!
This is one of the best swimming pools I've ever seen. The swimming classes for the children are so well-organised and fun. Even the coffee and lunch options at the Cafe are great!
Great staff and beautifully maintained pool complex, water was at a comfortable 28 degrees to do laps
Great place for kids. Many aquatic activities to choose from though perhaps need a bit of improvement on cleanliness.
Great venue for swimming.even though they are undertaking major renovations.they are still able to accommodate all swim activities. Wonderful staff too!
In fairness to the nice staff, the centre is under renovation and re-development, and I'm sure it will be great. However, the price is at an all-time high. Best to swim anywhere else for the next 12months. I was charged $6.80 for a casual swim to find out that not one single lane, in the entire 50m pool was available. Aqua Aerobics took up 4 lanes alone, and the rest were being used for swimming lessons. It's selfish, money hungry management and I quietly hope Rackley Swimming don't take on the new centre. Time for council to take back management and run the centre for the community, not just profits.
For the next 12 months or so Miami Aquatic Center is being up graded, so there is only one 50m pool in use for lap swimming. Sure it will be great when its finished.
Staff are friendly and pool normally clean. Today though I found it very dirty with the bottom of the pool filthy with leaves dirt etc. Not good enough really. Also having to share one lane as the rest if the pool was being used for other activities.this was at 9am.
My child enjoyed his swimming lessons there, the swimming instructors was lovely and helpful. My child was able to swim within 3 months on his own, thanks to the wonderful instructor. However customer service at the front desk could have been better, they kept stuffing up my child booking, telling me wrong information, and spend 95% looking and talking the computer screen than to me directly. Need more customer service training in that area.
