Sensational spot on the Sunshine Coast for the entire family, sand surf and Kings Beach Surf Club all close by and a courtesy bus for interstate holidayers without transport. KBSC has it all

The chef here should be sacked. We had the worst food ever here. Bland and over expensive. Never be back!

Such a beautiful spot, the food is terrific and generous serves too. The view of the beach and coastline is breathtaking. Such a lovely spot and beautiful staff too.

The food in general was good wasn't fantastic but what you would expect from an establishment like this and the price one would pay. The staff were exceptional, the bar staff professional and very accommodating, can't fault anyone. The three of us had a nice lunch. I had the parmy which was a typical parmy, my wife had the fish and chips again was nice and our friend had a stir fry pork and noodles must say it didn't look like a typical stir fry but he seemed to enjoy it. We also shared garlic bread and duck spring rolls which were pricy but quite nice, the garlic bread was a bit overpriced and basic. Perhaps a nicer bread would have been better.

I usually love it here but the last two visits haven’t been great with meals being forgotten and then not tasting that great.

Not a great choice for food. The do have a great view and play live music the odd time. Note you will need to book around holidays and busy weekends

After being invited to dinner by a member of this club, I checked their website to see what was required to prove vaccination status, as my family is visiting from overseas. I read on their website that a digital or printed International COVID-19 vaccination certificate was accepted. When arriving at the club, the boy at the entrance took my certificate, looked at it, and began to question the time between my shots and said that it wouldn't be accepted. I was absolutely shocked at his manner and rudeness and requested to speak to management. The manager did not even look at my certificate and told me that she was 'just doing her job' and that it wasn't their fault, it was clubs Queensland's requirements.
Clearly they have no idea what is on their own website.
Our long awaited family reunion was ruined over incompetent staff.

Got a great table near a window. Really nice arancini and a tasty and filling garlic prawn pasta. Yummy!

Had dinner last night with the family, my wife went to order food and was given attitude by the young girls behind the counter. They brought out the wrong food and gravy taste like drain cleaner. Chicken was nice but that’s about it. The wife went up to ask for some colouring in books for the kids as they weren’t given to her when she ordered the kids meals, there were 6 girls in the kitchen standing there ignoring her and then one of them finally looked up and gave her attitude again about asking for the colouring books. This sort of Attitude is unacceptable when serving customers. Bar staff were friendly but the others clearly didn’t want to be there!
Sadly we won’t be coming back

Average at best. And serving staff looked annoyed we were there.
Price to value ratio definitely in favour of those with plentiful cash and moderate tastebuds. We ordered the meatball linguine and Barra and chips. The linguine sauce was well seasoned and the pasta was tender. Tasty enough but nothing exciting, and for $22 I can't help but think I could have made a better version at home. An unexpected upside of the dish was that the portion was small enough for me to still want fish and chips from the much better store located 2mins up the road. The Barra was much the same as the pasta. The inside of the fish was cooked beautifully, however the skin was rubbery & slimy, the accompanying chips were slightly undercooked (a bit firm in the middle) and definitely under-seasoned.
In my experience, golf clubs, footy clubs and bowls clubs generally serve quality food at reasonable prices but Met on Kings was definitely an exception. Accordingly I can only conclude that this is a venue for exclusive patrons to dine in exclusion of the general public; for those who are interested in a great meal, try somewhere down the road.

Great view, great staff, great live music, good menu. Way too noisy for a comfortable conversation at dinner time though. This is a popular venue. I will be going back here.

One of the best views in Australia! Food was good without being outstanding and prices were reasonable. Beer was nice and cold though

The view was great, it is the best thing about the place. Food varied around the table, some was so yummy others were just OK. I didn't like the service.

At 6: 30 they were out of oysters you would think they would be prepared for a Saturday night Dinner.

Went to the club for dinner and was spoken to very rudely by female staff members at reception and also in the bistro. I refuse to support clubs or business who treat customers in this way and therefore walked out before ordering dinner. We stayed in Caloundra for a week and instead gave our business to several other restaurants and the food and service was excellent. I will give them all good reviews.

It was a small birthday celebration for 2 of us and it was just us (as the family are in NSW) & we were given a great table with views of the ocean & beach & pool. The staff even provided 3 balloons and a Happy birthday sign, without being told to. We received great service and delicious food. Thank you all.
