DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU REQUIRE EMERGENCY DENTAL. Booked in for an emergency dental consult for what turned out to be severe ulcerated gum disease and acute periodontal infection that I had ignored many years due to fear of dentists and dental surgery. Unable to function or even speak properly due to headaches toothache and swelling of my tounge.
Attempted to attend the appointment the next day. When meeting dentist Justin his attitude to begin with was horrid, I believe he judged me on my appearance and from to start was adopting a superior attitude. He became extremely passive aggressive when I advised had not been to the dentist since school (22 years) and I had ignored the issue i was seeking treatment for, for about 5 years and replied "why? " Did not like the answer I don't like dentists or hospitals and became hostile after this. Wanted specifics and what seemed a specific diagnosnis by me on what was going on with my mouth, I gave my best description and my best description of the pain I was in. When questioned further on what exactly was the problem I said I don't know anything further, thats why I'm here, you are the dentist I was hoping you guys could have a look in my mouth and tell me what's going on. All i can tell you is I am in a huge amount of pain. Justin then went on to tell me I needed to 'cool off' and left and got his receptionist to advise they were not the dentist for me. Their website spruike being a dental clinic perfect for people with anxiety for first time visits. What is detailed on site is lovely, this was not my experience sadly. Did not want to look in my mouth to try and help to begin with, I believe they thought I was seeking out pain medication without even looking in my mouth. In turn the horrible dentist Justin actually did me a huge favour turning me away, I found a dentist that day that took the pain i was in seriously. Provided comfort immediately and actually cared. We could start a calm discussion about treatment and the issue needing to be fixed etc.once some pain relief had been provided. This team lack any empathy or compassion in regards to the patient in my experience. If you want to be judged and questioned by people that are only 'acting nice' before you even get in the seat for the check up this place is the one. I am so very happy I found the opposite elsewhere, the dentist that helped me that day commented he was surprised I had lasted with the infection for that long.

Dr Jessica was amazing! She took the time to communicate with me throughout my visit. She answered all of many questions with lots of detail and didn’t rush me. She was very friendly and thorough and I completely trust her as my dentist.

I have really bad dental anxiety until I called and the receptionist lady spoke to me and made so calm to come in. When my appointment came I went straight in made me feel so comfortable. Dr Justin was so gentle and understanding. I will definitely be getting my treatment done here for sure.
