Merthyr Village Shopping Centre reviews
48 Although I shop here often the shops are very expensive if you are not buying food.
People with plenty of money frequent the clothes shops, but the restaurants are excellent and the food really good.
Great compact shopping place with warmth to it. Has everything pretty much needed and is always filled with hustle bustle and positive ambience. Gives you lot of local community feeling, which is great. Parking available.
Lots of nostalgia in this area, New Farm deli is THE place to be seen. " always has been" sensational place to dine, either for breakfast or lunch or just kick back with a friend and chew the fat over one of their wonderful coffees. Only downside is, it is always busy, but be patient! When you eventually get to sit down it's definitely worth it.seyadownthere.
Not to bad I was there for work demolishing the fruit market the parking there could be better other then that convenient?
A very busy little shopping centre. There are a variety of shops and specialists available including Coles, a doctor's surgery, a post office, a florist, a news agency, a fruit shop, a jewelry shop and several clothes shops. Plenty of covered parking. There is wheelchair access and amenities. Great place to access many services!
The security guard Robert was very helpful when I dropped some of my bags down the stairs to the car park.
Such a lovely group of shops, my first visit there and realized everything I need weekly right in one spot. Customers as well as staff were all keeping social distancing with Covid and really polite and helpful thank you
Great little shopping precinct. Has huge Coles cafes and Newfarm Deli. Also get lotto and paper. Fresh bread store and fruit shop to check out prices before venturing into Coles. Parking out front and underneath. I always enjoy myself.
Easy parking and range of shops, including small businesses such as coffee shops, bakery, fashion outlets and gift/bookstores. Everything you need in a convenient location.
There's Barambah Organics in New Farm!
So check the fresh fruit and veggies and eggs during your weekend markets. There deals that are worth it too.
Everything you need, all in the one place. With Coles, a fruit shop, a newsagent, a bakery, a deli, a bottle shop and the post office all in the one place - what more could you possibly ask for. There is also plenty of onsite parking with entrances on Merthyr Road, Brunswick Street and Welsby Street and there is a bus stop on Brunswick Street and another one on Merthyr Road with buses coming every 15-20mins.
A busy mall with a variety of cafés and stores. Parking available in complex for an hour, or on streets nearby.
Always a fun visiting this shopping centre. Still retains the old charm of yester year with some nice new additions.
Will always return.
It's a small shopping centre with all the basics. I would give New Farm Deli 5 stars and the fruit shop 5 stars
Lovely little centre full of life. Situated in the heart of New Farm, it captures the spirit of the locals and the class of the area.
Love it
It has a late opening Coles a great fruit store and a whole range of original stores all worth a look and support
Everything here I need. Great place to shop or meet up with friends for coffee and a delicious snack
One of our favourite eateries was in here. The NewFarm Deli. It was badly damaged by fire but will come back and be rebuilt. In the mean time support the locals here. There is another great eatery here and a really good bookshop and some other lovely stores. We will be back soon to visit.
Small and often very busy, but still worthy of visiting. Parking can be a bit nightmarish during peak periods - but which good shopping centres aren't?
