Had a appointment at 3: 30. Waited 3 hours to be seen. Was sent home with a piece of paper telling me to fix the problem myself. Jonathan Marchand was no help. Would recommend any other doctor there

I have been seeing Dr Jonathan Marchand for over four years. Being a specialist GP, he is without doubt the most knowledgeable and informative Doctor I have ever encountered. Each and every time I see him, he willingly combines his expertise and willingness to listen and discuss my health issues with kindness and patience – never rushing me out the door. I always feel like I am in such good hands, with each problem thoroughly investigated, examined and treated. So grateful! Support staff lovely and always helpful too.

Dr. Jonathan is a kind doctor. He is generous with his time. Very knowledgeable, respectful and caring. He explains everything carefully and thoroughly. Sometimes have to wait, but worth it!

The whole tean at Mermaid central medical centre are very helpful, i was extremely distressed as i was having shortness of breath and couldnt speak a word due to what i suspect is laryngitis, they got me straight through to see Dr Paul Fisser who was very helpful and calming, i had to catch a plane a few hours after this and it was bearable thanks to Paul.

Mermaid Central is an absolute standout with a range of brilliant doctors, nurses and support staff operating out of well located, modern facilities.
Paul Fisser has been my GP for more than a decade and his guidance through an unexpected cardiac emergency in 2022 was a major factor in saving my life. He will always carry my 100% recommendation.

Dr. Graham Exelby is the best Dr I’ve ever had by a long shot. I actually look forward to my visits. The clinics staff are all delightful and always very helpful. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.

One of the best medical clinics on the Gold Coast. Dr Graeme Exelby is my man but every doctor is great and they each have specialties.

Saw Dr Cuffe for some ongoing issues after a bike accident with anxiety etc. Following his advice re medication and lifestyle changes. Amazing transformation after 18 month struggle. Cannot thank Dr Cuffe and the team at Mermaid Central enough.

I've had an appointment for my son with Dr Jonathan Marchand at 3.30, at 5 O Clock the receptionist said I still have another person in front and if want to come back in 45 minutes
We just left that's absolutely ridiculous

Drs are great, its a shame the wait is an hr every time. Do not go here if your young child has cold symptoms as you will be made to wait outside for the hr with doors open to the busy highway, next to a fire alarm for them to play with. A gated area for this reason would be great, or to be seen in a reasonable time frame would be even better

The reception area is nice and clean, albeit very dated, the reception staff friendly…however the doctor I visit is always running at least 30 mins late. So on my last visit I booked a 9.15am appointment thinking I would be unlikely to be waiting too long - oh so wrong, I waited for 45 mins fuming in my mask and not even an apology by the doctor…argh

Dr Paul Fisser is one-off the best Doctors that Avril and I have ever been to. He is always very friendly and patient. His diagnostic ability is outstanding and always listens to our problems and sorts us out. When one enters the Clinic we are always met by a very friendly and smiling staff who makes us feel at home. Thanks Paul for all the help you give us

I would not recommend this clinic especially Dr Benjamin. Not very good experience. I have only went here because our usual doctor was not available at that day.

Not very happy with my last visit. Arrived 3 minutes prior to my appointment time to get some routine blood test results. Waited 30 mins, then get told my doctor has actually left. Ask if another doctor can give me my results, wait another 30 minutes, then get my results from another doctor, who was lovely and apologized when it was obviously not her fault at all. To my surprise get charged a full $90 consult for a quick results chat. Receptionist does not thank me for waiting or apologize for the stuff up. Won't be returning.

Great practice, always helpful. Dr Fisser is an excellent diagnostician. He and his team are brilliant medical professionals and I highly recommend this medical practice.

Dr Fisser goes above and beyond and gets results. He is caring and professional and very proactive. He was my doctor overseas and when i found him again in Australia i was ecstatic. I travel from Sydney just to see Dr Fisser with my whole family. We wont bother seeing any other doctor. He is the best doctor out there!

For anyone who is struggling to get there Diabetes type2 under control. I highly recommend that you book in to see Dr Marchand, without his help and support I would most likely be on Diabetic medication by now and considered Diabetic type 2 and suffering with all the known side effects from this disease, I was a pain as a patient as i would not accept that diagnoses and did all that I could diet wise to reduce weight, I have Hashimotos which makes losing weight very difficult as this also affects my metabolism. Dr Marchand was very patient with my resistance to trial a new drug and explained how this would help me and alleviated my fears of trialling this new drug by providing me with medical feedback that we discussed in length. I am happy to report that I am NO longer considered to have Diabetes type 2 and have lost in total 11.4 kilos, my blood work has come back with substantial improvement's with my cholesterol, kidney and liver condition etc. BIG THANK YOU DR MARCHAND you have given me a much better quality to life. Clean clinic, Indian doctor was nice but made terrible pre hospital report & failed to include any allergic medication as well as prescribed medication that is being taken for seizures.
