My son thoroughly enjoys his classes with Master Ryan, his confidence has increased and as a parent, I applaud the holistic approach Master Ryan has to his students

Poppy has been in the Mf community since she was in Prep. We only joined the Kawana team this year as it was closer to her high school. Everyone has been so welcoming! Poppy loves her classes especially helping the younger students and the weapon training.

I could not recommend MF or Master C enough! It has obviously been beneficial for fitness, but what makes them stand out is the commitment to educating the kids on self defence, respect and attention. You can see the genuine love master C has for the kids and is willing to put in the time and energy into making sure they grasp what they are learning properly. Very glad we found them!

Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Kawana is fantastic. It offers great opportunity for students to develop skills that will enrich their life. The staff are helpful, respectful and supportive of every individual students needs. I highly recommend enrolment if you are interested in starting martial arts.

We do the homeschool program and the kids LOVE it! It has built confidence, improves hand-eye coordination and independence. Brilliant program and a life skill everyone should have! Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Kawana school enough.
The confidence and discipline that it has given our daughter is indescribable.
She started out as a shy preteen who wouldn’t talk to anyone or speak up… to a teenager who will gladly tell you what she wants!
She has just become a junior assistant instructor and is loving working with the kids.
It’s hard to put into words all of the benefits and positives we have seen since she started… she is absolutely thriving ️

My 6 year old daughter started training with Master C, Miss Sawdy and Mr Henry earlier this year at MF Kawana in the hope she could gain more confidence in herself. She has achieved that and so much more! The Mighty Matts class is a fabulous mix of fun, exercise, self defence, concentration, resilience and dedication. She loves going every week and I can highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun class for little people, and for big people too! I was worried there may be few girls training when she first started, but there is probably equal ratios of girls and boys and lots of lovely friendships to be made. Give it a go!

My daughter joined martial arts 5 years ago. And my wife Elizabeth joined to encourage her to stay with it. Watching the 2 women in my life gain confidence and build an unshakeable bond through training and competing together, has been nothing short of amazing. They are now training to grade for their black belts together next year what a wonderful achievement. The encouragement and dedication of the Matt Fiddes team Master Ryan and Miss Sawdy has built a confidence and a belief in themselves that society has been trying to do for women around the world. Along with Master Weir and Sam Weir, they have helped to mould my beautiful girls into respectful kind and decent lethal weapons. Thank you to the Mart Fiddes Team. I actually get emotional writing this.

What a great group to be apart of. The instructions are so wonderful with my son and he enjoys every minute of his time there. Great for confidence and fitness. I am so happy that I chose this group for my son to join.

We are new to the Matt Fiddes Kawana family but my boys absolutely love the class. Master C is brilliant with teaching the class keeping it fun whilst ensuring the kids learn and progress in the class. Highly recommend to everyone!

I have a 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son that attend MF Kawana. My daughter was so shy and timid at the start. Mrs Sawdy was so supportive of taking the time to make her feel comfortable and letting her settle in her time and make her feel welcome. The leadership girls were so admirable giving my little lady the self esteem and courage she needed. Within 2 weeks she was joining her very enthusiastic brother and 1 week later she gained the confidence to join in, make new friends and find her spirit. Master C is fabulous with the kids such a great leader and role model.
I absolutely recommend getting your kids involved in this great activity.

My children have joined Matt Fiddles Martial Arts and we have never looked back! The program is carefully structured and teaches precious values for all ages in a fun and supportive environment.

My kids are learning to be brave, resilient and are always looking forward to meet their friends in martial arts. Master C and Ms Sandy are wonderful and a careful selection of games keeps the kiddos attentivr while teaching the relevant skills.

I would highly recommend MF as it improves confidence and teaches values, lifeskills and builds friendships for kids!

Great fun environment. Educational and great for building self-esteem and inbedding a sense of pride and commitment and belonging well done to the MF team. I have seen a huge improvement in confidence and attitude with both my children my son loves juniors and my little girl she loves mighty matt's.

My son has been attending Kawana MF for the last couple of years and I can highly recommend Master C, Miss Sawdy and their team. They deliver an exceptional martial arts program that goes far beyond learning the moves. They model and teach respect, commitment, kindness and perseverance to all the children and talk about real life issues in a way the children respond to. An excellent program with exceptional instructors who are focused on creating a community who look out for each other. They make extra effort to know each child individually improving their experience. Highly recommend!

My son started MF martial arts at the age 5 as a mighty matt and progressed to juniors and now adults at 14. It has given him a lot more confidence and everyone becomes like family and looks out for each other. I sat on the sidelines for years and then joined up myself and at 50 it has been great for exercise and also to keep my brain active. We love it, full recommend everyone to give it a go.

My son loves his Kinder Matts class at Kawana! He never wants to leave at the end! It’s such a great program to teach kids some really important life skills.
Mrs Sawdy is very patient and so good with the children even when they lose focus easily like my son does. We are looking forward to continuing on through the program and moving up to Mighty Matts eventually. Would definitely recommend for pre-school aged children!

We are so glad that we registered our children to attend Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Kawana. They love it and have progressed to green belts and are keen to work towards eventually becoming black belts.
