My son has been attending the kids classes for two years. Every week he loves it, the classes are amazing, a great mix of fitness and learning boxing basics. The coaches are fantastic. Highly recommend for you child.

My son recently joined Matrix Boxing Gym, having no boxing experience and being a pretty shy/quiet child. He is loving the gym. I put that down mainly to the team that the owner Stephen has there! They really look out for the younger kids, while still training everyone in the gym to their skill level.

I would recommend anyone thinking of getting either themselves or their child into boxing to head into Matrix Boxing Gym.

Best boxing gym in Queensland! The coaches were awesome, motivating and friendly. Felt completely comfortable in my first class. The class had a great mix of skills, drills and cardio. All staff were friendly I would join in a heartbeat if I lived in QLD! Check it out for sure

I absolutely LOVE this gym and highly recommend it. Steve and all the staff are so friendly, welcoming and no matter your skill or fitness level, you get treated fairly and the exact same as everyone else. I loved their classes and enjoy boxing! I was really sad to leave due to my pre-existing injury, but definitely can’t wait to sign back up once I have rehabilitated it. Unlike any gym I’ve been to before, Steve and his boys welcome you like family, the classes and camps that they do are awesome, whether it’s learning the art of boxing your looking for, a gym or straight fitness this place will have you hitting your goals for sure.

Best boxing Gym in all Gold Coast hands down. I have boxed since I was 14 and now at 43 I am training my 7 years old son. I cannot ask more qualified trainers then the coaches at the Matrix Boxing gym in Ashmore. This gym is Outstanding with planty of space, a full sized boxing ring and at least 10 boxing bags of all sizes and shapes. 6 stars.

Awesome Boxing Gym. Fantastic Coaches, great equipment. Good range of participants from young to old and all fitness levels in the Novice Boxing class. Highly recommend this gym.

Trained here pretty regularly when I was studying abroad in Gold Coast. Stephen and Jacob, and every other coach at the gym, are exceptional boxing teachers. The classes are structured with a perfect mix of technique and intense cardio. On top of all that, the gym is incredible: tons of space, enough bags to suit a large class, a full ring and weight room. Have yet to find a gym in the USA that compares to Matrix.

Whether you’re a resident of GC or just visiting for a few days, advanced boxer or novice, Matrix is the place to go.
