Mathers Maroochydore

The sales assistant was extremely rude and even more unhelpful. I really struggled to deal with her as she made it very very clear that she was annoyed at serving me. The whole experience made me feel very uncomfortable. I really feel she needs to find a career that doesn’t involve assisting people otherwise I would suggest she needs some training in manners and maybe how to smile? Has certainly put me off going to this store ever again which is unfortunate as I only brought shoes for my son there 2 weeks ago and it was a completely different experience.

The service and delivery of product was fast and efficient without the oversell of unwanted products

Fantastic sales staff - very helpful. Lots of choice and coveninet location (and no parking issues).

We initially purchased 2 pairs of school shoes for our children in January 2022. My sons shoes after 6 months (July) had to be returned with the front of each shoe letting go. The deal at that time was buy 2 pairs get your 2nd pair for half price. The staff member refused to honour that special and made us pay more to have the shoes replaced. We paid it. But will not be back for any more school shoes or any thing else for that matter.

Extremely RUDE and RACIST customer service so far! One staff in particular. I am a regular customer and loved the customer service and the product. But this time it was BAD! I had bought a shoe 3 days ago. I had a really bad heel pain with my last shoe so the lady serving was sweet and said “ If this is the most comfortable shoe you are trying now, take it home and try. If its starts to be uncomfortable and painful with this, you can come back within 30 days and we can exchange or refund. But please don’t wear if its not good. ”
I wore it for 4 hours at work felt uncomfortable and still bit painful. Took it off, never worn back and wait for my days off to visit. Yesterday, when I went and talked this through with the lady, she looked at it and said “ I CANNOT TAKE IT BACK. ITS DIRTY AND SMELLY AND SMELLS FOOD. The balls has gone off and others…” I said and smelled and said “ smell food? I don’t think so. ” She was tending not to touch the shoe and making expressions as if it were some very filthy stuff. Felt really bad and walked and said “ I might come back when the manager is here. ”
I DONT THINK I AM EVER GOONA GO THERE BACK AGAIN.

Always love shopping for my leather shoes at Mathers. Postage was FANTASTIC - got my shoes the same week I ordered them. A women never wants to wait for shoes. Thank you team - you did well

Not sure if I got the Maroochydore store or head office QLD? But wanted to say thanks to Barbara at the Maroochydore store for excellent customer service even though we came in while the shop was closing. She treated us with the same patience and respect as though we were the first customers of the day and we walked away, after many prior hours spent trying to buy the right school shoes for my fussy, fashionista daughter, with the perfect match:)

Nice staff, attentive, I was approached as soon as I entered the store to see if I wanted servi e or if I was just wanting to browse, even though she was serving another, who was my mate. He bought the boots.

My partner and I walked in to what was a very busy store today, and only 2 staff were visible who were in fact, run off their feet with customers.
A lovely lady saw myself standing at the counter wanting to ask about what shoes to get for my partber, to which she came to our assistance and provided us with great guidance.
We actually realised the best pair there, my partner already had at home, and would persist at work to wear these shoes again.
Comfort over style came through in guidance from this awesome attendant.
Apologies we left straightaway, and to no fault of the staff.
We will come back here again, as we have done several times before.

The sales lady who served me was absolutely fantastic. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. If you have difficulty getting shoes to fit I would strongly recommend the Sunshine Plaza shop.
