Martial Arts Queensland reviews
28My son loves it so much, I have noticed such a difference in his self esteem and focus. Highly recommend!
Our family has been training with martial arts Queensland for years and we cannot recommend them strongly enough. Our kids enjoyed it so much eventually the parents got involved! If you want a family friend but outstanding training experience for kids and adults look no further.
My son has been going since he was 3 and a half. Absolutely loves going there and always has a great time. Sensei Quinn has been amazing with his teaching. Highly recommended for young kids to develop their skills, and learn some discipline along the way.
Also, the birthday parties here are fun.
Fantastic local Japanese Jujitsu academy allowing kids and adults to train self defence and learn the art form.
Absolutely love the service provided by the MAQ Team.
My eldest son loves his classes and my youngest son is so eager to get on the mat and start training. He'll have to wait until he's 2.
Quinn, Brandon and the Team are professional, courteous and wonderful with the students.
A great way for younger children to learn new skills, build confidence and have a great time.
Highly recommend MAQ to parents.
I love seeing my son grow and learn.
Our little one who is only 3 years old absolutely loves her little warriors classes. Sensai Quinton is patient, down-to-earth and always has fun with the kids after the class too. I can't praise Quinton enough.
My boys aged 9 and 8 started here recently and have had an amazing experience so far. They love going. The instructors are fantastic with children and very welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend them to everyone.
This is an amazing place with phenomenal coaches. They teach our children to believe in themselves, to help others, to be respectful, honest, hard working and with dedication to always give their best. We are so impressed as parents and it’s consistently this way … it never changes. You are always greeted and made to feel welcome with a wonderful community vibe. Our children have both gained confidence in speaking up and using their voice after coming here and it’s only our first year but we are here to stay. Thank you so much, we can’t recommend Martial Arts Queensland highly enough!
My son started attending here in the Little Warriors first, and then I joined the adults BJJ classes six months ago. This academy is friendly and supportive of all levels; they have a variety of instructors, locations and times.
My 4yo has been attending Martial Arts Queensland's Little Warriors program (3-7 year olds). She loves every minute of it - has a lot of fun, gets a good workout, and gets to meet new friends. I walk away always impressed. The instructors balance firmness with the kids, instilling the importance of respect and discipline, while keeping the classes really positive and fun. I especially appreciate the focus on introducing the kids to self-defense and stranger danger. I highly recommend them!
Martial Arts Queensland has quickly become a second home for my youngest son who has taken up jujitsu with huge enthusiasm. We've had the privilege of training across multiple locations (thanks to the flexibility of bookings and classes) and my son has enjoyed his time under each unique sensei. While jujitsu may be an individual pursuit, Martial Arts Queensland is like a big family, with much warmth and support across the staff and the students. They promote community through teaching respect, discipline and courtesy, and my son has made friends across all ages and ranks in every class he has attended. One day I may be brave enough to join him on the mat!
My daughter's doing jiu-jitsu and I'm doing jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. Can fully recommend both. We both love it.
My son loves his jujitsu and kickboxing classes at MAQLD at both that Jamboree Heights and Toowong Branches. The instructors are encouraging and motivating. Admin are friendly and very helpful all the time. Big thumbs up.
My son has been part of Martial Arts Queensland Toowong for the past four years - since prep - and we cannot say what an awesome sport and discipline this Art is! The team at Toowong focus on strength, fitness, Respect, Teamwork, Listening skills, Focus, Self Defence, and much more and have loads of fun… thank you!
We love Sensai Rob and the team at Martial Arts Queensland. The skills and confidence it helps with are amazing.
My son has been going there since he was 5. He loves the class. At Jamboree heights Sensei Shane is AMAZING. We would never go anywhere else.
A fantastic academy for kids who want to learn martial arts. The staff are friendly, approachable and explain techniques in a way that engage kids throughout lessons. I only wish I started my kids sooner!
We have been at MAQ for 3 years, the instructors are a lot of fun, but they push the kids too, good fitness, discipline and self-defence.
My daughter has been attending Martial Arts Queensland since last 3 years and loves it so much.
I've been going here now for over a year and still loving it. Learning to kickbox has been an awesome experience. Great atmosphere!
