Couldn't recommend this place more, Amazing quality meats and poultry. The Ham is the best we've ever had, so delicious, not super salty.
The staff are really friendly and helpful, even though it was busy they took the time to take our groceries out to our car for us, as we had our kids with us.

This review a lot different than 2 years ago. Service quality is no where what it was. Meat quality had dropped, far to much in the way of prepared meats like sausages, burger patties, stuffed mushrooms.
Pork very fatty cuts compared to what the used to have, lamb now very poor cuts.
Steak way overpriced.
Sorry guys you used to be a 5 star butcher but these days you just scrap a 3. It's Ok but only just better than a dislike.
Gavin's sons are not of the same quality.
That's my opinion others may differ.
I used to go out of my way to go here but now only if I pass this way. Today 17/9/22

Best butcher in Cairns. I make the drive out from Kewarra Beach and I'm always met by such friendly staff and I always feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. Their sausages are just next level. Give them a try!

For me to of been in Cairns for 10 years and not to of had your bacon before is a Crime! Best Bacon I’ve had ever! Don’t make the same mistake I did.get down here and order your bacon!

Have you got a weird/fancy recipe? No question is dumb or weird and you won’t be laughed at for asking.
Truly great at what they do- lots of their own home grown meat, a huge range of specialty meat and extras (and will source anything you ask for), and the best service of any shop I’ve ever been in in my entire life!

Excellent, by far the best butcher in Cairns. Gavin and his team are always friendly, they help you out with your enquiries. The meat he sells always fresh.
Would recommend this butcher to anyone.
The only thing I would say if you normally go to Coles or Woolies for you meat you keep going there and leave the good product to his regular clients.

The staff is so friendly the (kind older and funny) gentleman was the best! We had the rib cutlets and ribs and let me tell you. My Oh MY! I can’t wait to dig into our bacon & sausages.

This butcher shop is so far ahead of the rest it's not funny.
Attention to detail, beautiful cuts of meat and their snags are brilliant.
We drive from North Cairns to Freshwater instead of buying from supermarkets every week and have never been let down in 20 years.

I walked in today as a new customer looking for bones for a broth. I was greeting with a welcoming charm and exceptional customer service. Although I only spent $12 today I will now return for a life time because of the exceptional service I received. Thank you
