Market Square Deception Bay reviews
44 Wasn't to busy tonight but the food took forever to come to the table and then when we did get it
it was all at once and the small chicken rolls were dry as
as they looked like they were made hours earlier and the staff were cold and not friendly at all
Definitely won't be going back to that one again very disappointed
Lovely clean shopping centre, has all the shops I require for a little local shopping centre.butcher, hot bread shop, newsagent, heaps of food stores, florist, fruit and veg shop cheap variety store+ more.
Adequate car parking, some areas were dirty and required deep cleaning. Would not recommend approaching any locals. Shoes optional.
I did not visit inside this Centre, I never do as I do not feel safe after the Security Guard attacked me, nobody helped and the Centre management did not provide the proper cctv evidence. Such an harrowing, surreal experience. Corruption is rife here and very real.
Nice place to go to. I do all of my shopping there. I live on my own and it is nice to meet up with friends
Small centre with a compact variety if stores. The fruit shop has some good bargains, but just double check for quality.
If you want to go to the local shopping centre it's good but would not recommend if you where to go out if your way.
Clean and getting better. More security may by needed as the locals can literally poo on the floor.
Nice little underrated centre. Could do with a wider variety of shops, but is a pleasant area to get the things you need.
Not bad, its got a good mixture of things. Cheap shop, Woolies, a few take aways, blood bank, restaurant and a club. Seem good. I'm not a frequent shopper up that end of the bay but if I lived there I would frequent it. Has what you need and a chemist. The newsagent is gone and they call it some fancy name like a paper shop but it's not anything on the scale it was before. Terrible really you need to go elsewhere if your looking for those special cards or wrapping paper etc.
Its not a very nice centre, empty shops everywhere and not very well maintained. The shops that are in there are ok.
Great staff, always know their stuff and ready to go above and beyond to help you. Good selection for their size and slot of the time have a sale on. I go regularly and always walk out happy.
This centre has got some good shops and is nice and tidy. It pretty much has got what you need for everyday shopping. Fruit shop is good with some excellent specials. We brought bread rolls from the bread shop, but very disappointed as they were quite stale. Fish and chips were very good.
Easy parking at time I went
first time to post office.saw signage from exterior.was a bit confusing trying to work out where to get into store.but easy enough once in centre to locate.staff at Post office helpful
picked up some nice split chicken from chicken shop on way out.staff helpful
As someone who grew up in Deception Bay a long time ago I had high hopes when they built the new shopping centre, they failed to deliver. After a few changes of ownership and a few revamps there is still nothing there to bring people in other than Woolworths and now Hungry Jack's.
I find going to dbay shops is very easy to walk around to do shopping and they have what you need like fish shop, woolwooths, post office.
Very convenient to just pop in and grab something from Woolies. There is literally only one shop open in the food court, so don't expect to have lunch there. Not a large variety of.specialty shop either.
Good place, has plenty of parking. Has fish store outside of Woolies, plus meat and fruit barn, so can do all shopping here. Has bakery, coffee shop also, can get dominos, alcohol also.
I go there because I buy fruit and veggies at the Fruity Discounts Store, groceries at Coles and a snack at Michel's. I'd recommend this shop to everyone who goes each day.
The centre has undergone a recent revamp to stay relevant and attractive to shop owners and shoppers alike from the surrounding suburbs.
The main retailers are Woolworths, BWS, Dan Murphy’s, Amcal Max, Domino’s Pizza, Hungry Jacks and Subway.
There's is a smallish food court and plenty of covered parking.
