Maleny Hotel

Pretty mid.alright hotel if looking for a quick stay and good price.shower and bathroom isnt in your own room so its shared by everyone in the hotel, its ok.shower has mould around the floor and curtains are always drenched with water since their cotton and even stick to you in the shower since the shower space is small.individual bathrooms cool.place is alright in general, not terrible but not great

First time trying. Food was pretty good however timing wasn’t the best, got one of our mains, once that was half eaten we received our entree then after my partner finished his main we received mine, so that was a little disappointing to not even receive the entree first. Location is beautiful in the beer garden.

Drinks OK.
Salad served up with Parmi was inedible, due to limp lettuce and horrible dressing. Surely one can improve on that. Parmi was OK.

Been there once before and the food was lovely and it had a nice atmosphere but this time food was terrible. Tough uneatable steak, bland washed out looking schnitzel. Complete waste of money. Won’t be returning unfortunately

Sitting in bar with fire with locals, played billards as a group great day and would do it again next time in Maleny

Had the chicken parmigiana. It was dry and overcooked. Average portion sizes. Nice old pub though.

Brilliant facility for Maleny. Seems to attract super friendly people who will say hello when they pass. Great for walking puppies off-leash, and right near the Obi Obi Board walk which is quick and full of bird calls and platypuses! My puppy totally loves it. At the end of the 10 mi. Boardwalk is the library which has SO MANY bats in the park behind. Maleny treasure ️

Lovely vibe at this old style pub and bistro, especially in the beer garden out the back. We both ate the “meat lovers” parmi, which was interesting - a bit sickly with so much sweet BBQ sauce and low quality pepperoni - but an experience nonetheless! Drinks seemed expensive: $22.70 for two schooners (XXXX and ginger beer) and a glass of post-mix soda water. I guess that’s tourist-town prices.

Latest visit to Bistro for dinner was evening of 23rd December. Big crowds all through the hotel and out in the garden - we had booked a table so no problem. Had a couple of drinks while waiting for "meals rush" to be over then ordered Pan Fried Barramundi. DELISH. All in all we really enjoyed our visit.

Lovely pub with a very nice and spacious beer garden out the back (pet friendly!) Staff were very quick with meals and welcoming to our big dog. Pizza was fresh and delicious:)

Poor food rude staff. Came in for lunch ordered a Wagu burger at $27 Hungry Jacks is better.
My wife’s Pizza had more oil than an Ampol well. When we asked where the pizza was we were told it was coming from a different kitchen - sorry we asked. Come on Maleny if you want to attract day visitors and tourists lift your game.

10 out of 10 guys. Food was excellent every thing was made in house and fresh from vinegarette, mayonnaise, sauces, tartare, and good quality salads chips seasoning perfect meat spot on and so on. Staff where amazing so polite and helpful. I have finally found a hotel and restaurant that has it right for pub food and more like quality restaurant. Everyone on other tables I looked at their food and perfect. 100 % nailed it go here people.

Reviewing meal in the bistro only. 3 stars= not bad but not amazing. Generous serving size, good chips and side salads, okay meals. High chair was dirty and we were there before dinner had started.
It was too cold for us to sit outside but the beer garden looked really pleasant.

Unfortunately my steak and prawns were yuck! Charcoal was the only flavour I could taste on both steak meals absolutely disappointed won’t be going back again!

Went for a pub meal and that is what we got. Nothing special and the old hotel is a rabbit warren, but the service was great.

Nice country pub.
Nice food, nice outdoor area a bit of music a great Sunday session place.

Great meal and great service, especially the person taking our meal orders and the young lads who waited on our table.
More needs to be done though to keep the smokers away from the beer garden dining area. We had a table in the beet garden and smokers were standing beside our table and lighting up until we asked them to move. They were even using our table to place their drinks, bags etc etc while they were lighting up. Maybe indeed to 'light-en' up a bit but the rules are in place for a reason.

Super friendly staff! Beautiful old pub but even more amazing outdoor beer garden. It would be a beautiful low key wedding reception area amongst the trees. Food was hot, tasty, well cooked and value for money

Room was nice but the only part of the hotel with a warm fire and pool table is off limits to children. Had to sit in a cold restaurant and get rugged up. Pretty poor form really. The only two rooms that weren't 10 degrees were the pokie room and the empty front bar that had a nice roaring fire.
