NEW OWNERS! I should say "new owners thankfully". They're friendly, helpful and the prices are WAY cheaper than they used to be. I love having access to the back room so I can see and feel the leathers to choose exactly what I want.which of course I did! Great range of leather and crafting tools! I am just getting started and the staff were very helpful in fielding my dumb questions. Leather seemed very reasonably priced compared to what I've been seeing at other retailers online, so it turned out to be great value too. I was looking in particular for some veg-tanned offcuts to mess up and there were loads of options in loads of thicknesses. I also had no problem with any perceived rudeness that the one-star reviews mention. Maybe if you're planning to drive 160km just wear a bloody mask and don't be a POS to the people you're buying from?

Did a 4 hour 150Km round trip just to be told to pull my mask up over my nose! Service person was cold & humourless, not at all engaging, Just going through the motions, I pretty much got what I came for but the experience left a lot to be desired. Shame there are no leather craft stores West of Brisbane.

Female staff are horrible, 2 times now I have visited. I have a mask exception and I'm sick of people like her treating me poorly and getting all high and mighty. Lady wake up grow up and stop playing the victim you have no right to see my medicalhistory. It's a 160km round trip I make to shop there, Will not be returning.

I have been going to Mac-Lace for almost a year now. The staff are beyond helpful, knowledgeable and always make time to listen and to best explain/demonstrate how tools or fittings work. I would genuinely be at a loss without them in my leather craft journey, I highly recommend this business. I really appreciate the lovely ladies that work there.

Love this place, great range of leathers but even better range of hardware. Staff are always willing to spend time to make sure you have what you need. Perfect for a beginner like me.

I was so lucky to discover this shop as I needed to buy some dye for my leather race suit and everyone else is so expensive but these guys are just wow highly recommend to visit them they have everything for leather
