LOWOOD - Lowood Mitre 10

Disappointed to say the least. When they would not match a price listed at bunnings I was advised to shop else where. When I asked what their best price was I was told their marked price was it. Surprised that they are happy to loose a customer's so easly. Business must be good.

Great service, a huge and varied range of good quality tools, hardware, wood, metals, fittings and general home maintenance products.

My dad Grant works here (not biased, I promise) - they are super helpful and have a great selection. Plus petrol, which is always handy.

They are wonderful in trade, however Gas bottle supply is a whole other thing. Very disappointed in the way things went when I asked for my account number with elgas who supplies the gas bottles through mitre10. According to elgas website anyone who supplies their bottles must sign you up with elgas so they receive a gas compliance certificate and you get an account number, plus you can call elgas directly should something go wrong with their bottles. When we signed up with Mitre10 lowood I thought it funny that they never asked me for the gas compliance certificate. When we moved and I wanted to shift my account to Mitre10 plainland I was advised that if I just grabbed the account number I wouldnt have to repay the $60 rental fee Id just payed Mitre10 lowood. When asking Lowood they said that they dont sign anyone up but somehow your rental fee cant be refunded even partially. Something seems off or maybe even fraudulent here. I shall follow up with elgas. Others please be wary and check that they ask for a gas compliance certificate

I always get great service at this Mitre 10. Walk in, you are greeted with a smile and always ask if you need any help. Great staff!

For a small countryish hardware store they do a bonza job.if they dont have they will do there best to get. But like anything these days. Be paitent. Service is better then the big smoke, staff will always ask if you need help. Unless they are busier then a chicken getting fed.

I live in lowood. This is my go to hardware store. Also I always get my fuel there. Today I asked if they could order a fuel cap for my little lawn mower I bought a while ago. They provided one to me free of charge. Great customer service and great staff members.

Excellent service at this store. It is not my local store and I will drive past another Mitre 10 to go to the Lowood store. Knowledgeable staff who show an interest in helping you find the product you need. My wife also prefers this store because of how helpful the staff are.

Always friendly and helpful. Love stirring up John and the guys. Very helpful bunch and have some great bargains from time to time.

The staff are so helpful. I needed different bolts nuts n washers for a job n it was 5 minutes before they closed n they helped me out n let me know if i had any problems to bring them back. They have got everything u need n a wee bit more

Always prefer Mitre 10 to others but this particular one is the pinnacle of friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and its close to Rudy and Adas for a coffee too!

The staff are all 10 stars in my book. Bend over back wards to help you. They have a good range of products. Both timber steel aluminum. Fencing wire.in a lot of their products they are cheaper then Bunnings.

Almost live in this place, spend so much time looking for replacement items as most of my tools are old and needed replacing, I found I can pay a little more being a local run store, with distances etc would sooner pay a bit extra than a 180klm round trip to Ipswich from where I live.

John and Keith, Cody and the rest of the team bend over backwards to ensure we have what we need on hand, atm there is delays with some things and our Covid problems transporting between countries, so you tell them what you require they will get it for you sometimes next day and sometimes a couple of days!

All in all I find that fuel prices are great and I use them as they are the only place in Lowood with Premium Unleaded, and the prices are normally cheaper than others.

I replaced a saw went to a battery one this time, and direction by staff I was put to a couple of ideas (Thanks Cody) to buy a pack, best part is as I use this about 3x a year I was informed a spare battery is only $30, and being pointed to a pack I spent a little more $20 and got 5 tools for the price of 1, yes Cody pointed it out, and it made 100% sense.

You will seriously be hard pressed to find a better team than Lowood Mitre 10

Yes they have failed me a few times, but I would sooner be told sorry mate you will need to get it from a manufacturer (Key) they can't cut do I crucify them for these little things? No we smile at each other and part ways still friends because they tried!

Staff approach you to ask if you are ok.
Good range. If they don't have it, they can order it in.
I purchased a product with a faulty part. They readily exchanged.

Excellent service especially compared to bunnings there is no waiting around to find someone to help you, most of the time you walk in and get help straight away. Good range for a country hardware and mostly good prices.

Always ring to see if they have the specialty product you want. They dont always have it yet the website says it does. The website is based on mitre 10 and not the store.
