I love Lorna Jane activewear but absolutely cannot stand staff who use pet names such as “babe” “hun” and “baby girl”. I am a grown woman, who is looking for activewear after having a baby, do not call me that. The sales technique used at this store is ruthless, they do not listen to your needs and just try and force you to buy things even if you say you aren’t interested. They seriously need to dial it back. I felt so uncomfortable that I went down to rockwear instead.

On behalf of a friend who felt horribly ignored and under valued.

Customer service needs much improvement. Size range and availability for a womens store should be readily available and not a "special order" in. For a women "centric" Company one could only think inclusiveness of all shapes and sizes (xs-xl) would be a part of their business model.

I myself purchased items and had a lovely experience before knowing how my friend felt. I hoped I could get a refund seeing as I dont want to support a company that makes people feel excluded, however refunds are not part of their returns policy no matter the issue. Unfortunately, I will not be a returning customer based on discrimination and customer centricity.

Lovely customer service! The store person paid special attention to my sad little boy to make him feel very comfortable while I shopped. I always feel so comfortable and the store is immaculate! Great service and attention to detail! Its why I keep coming back! Love Lorna Jane active wear!

2 staff members in, walked up to them at the sales desk only for them to look at me and continue their personal conversation as I waited, needless to say they didn't get a sale

Staff is unhelpful.love lorna Jane but the northlakes store is just the worst. I have tried it on and off for last 3 years disappointed every time. Chermside and Carindale is soo good.

You will be ‘SHAMED’ for even having the audacity to walk through the doors of this LORNA JANE STORE.
You will receive offhanded and senseless comments by the ‘2IC’ and judged for daring to look at clothing that they have already made an assumption on that will not fit you.
HERE’S A TIP LORNA JANE RECRUITMENT: Employ people that actually have compassion; humility, gratefulness. MANNERS EVEN because this poor excuse for a human being that is employed by your company as JUST a shop assistant (remind her of that) needs to go. Unless her job description entails putting customers down, making ‘ASSUMPTIONS’ on their sizing, rushing them OUT of the store because they’re not the kind of LJ image they want to portray, being rude and generally being abhorrent human beings then LETS HOPE ALL THE BAD PUBLICITY YOU’VE BEEN RECEIVING WILL EVENTUALLY SEND YOU INTO RECEIVERSHIP

REVIEW OF NORTH LAKES LORNA JANE STORE:

Never in my life have I experienced such poor and low behaviour. The staff there have no manners and how dare they make a comment on a young woman (myself) over how I look. Are they so perfect?

I walk into the store in search for a top. I’m 16 years old and was attending a fun run for breast cancer that I am doing with my sister. I went into Lorna Jane to see what they had and thought I could purchase something to feel good about myself in as I have quite low self esteem. I immediately was yelled at in the face by a little Asian woman that said “HI HOW ARE YOU THIS MORNING. SORRY TOO MUCH COFFEE HAHAHA! ” Like a rabid dog. I kept on searching in store and 2 minutes later she comes up to me again asking if I need any assistance. I replied “yes I’m looking for a top in this kind of material”, as I was pointing to another top similar to the one I wanted. She then said to me “ohh ok we don’t usally stock many of the larger sizes”. She was assuming that I was a “larger size” when I didn’t even say one thing about my size at all or if I was buying it for someone else for that matter. She then goes on to say “we only have this kind of T-shirt, we don’t really have many of the larger sizes in stock, what size are you usually? ” I then replied “I’m usally a medium”. She then says “yeah we don’t have much of that in stock but keep an eye out online or something” and then I walked out feeling tearful and even more low about my self esteem. I always like to dress nice and try and keep my appearance looking fresh and clean. But to cop this kinda of behaviour from an older woman Is completely wrong and horrible.

She or the staff there are nothing special and head office has already been contacted to take this matter further. My mum will defend me down to the bone. And if that means doing what we can to get this woman fired to be sure this never happens again to another young woman or another woman of any age again!
We will do just that.

Women already have it pretty tough and we don’t need this kinda of thing happening, I don’t care who you are or what you think of yourself.

Ive spent quite a bit of time in lorna jane northlakes and have found them to all to be very helpful and easy to deal with, Ive seen a bad review here and feel I had to say something, i work in a similar company and have to say do people who shop in clothing stores really think we dont know your size as soon as we see you, if you are too sensitive about your size then sorry but shop online or would you rather we lie and tell you youre a small.
I have a friend who worked for lj and they arent a good company to work for, they dont back up their staff they just push push push so Im not defending the company just the staff who are great and work under a lot of pressure to sell sell sell.

Fantastic products, my wife loves there leisure wear, leggings and tops. These clothes are extremely well made and look great on. I would give them 5 stars, but the music is so loud it drives us out of the store. 10 minutes and we're out of there, I don't understand as the clothing is at a price point that wouldn't attract teenagers.

We went in to store to make a specific purchase, but first salesperson tried very hard to ignore what we said we wanted and tried to get us to look at other things. We had better luck with second salesperson.
