I don't go out much at all but I found it to be relaxing at the time and I felt happy and content

Small crowd but I must admit that the bar server when far and beyond my expectations. She definitely has a old style education regarding hospitality. I was with a gentleman who has a disability and the kindness treated towards him was heart warming and showed me first class people in hospitality still a live in Brisbane thank you lord Stanley hotel

We have been regulars for ages having lived in E Bris for 40 plus years. Food has been variable in quality over the years but boy how good is it now. Absolutely first class. The steaks are succulent and the Bangers and Mash exceeds expectations. Plus the complimentary chicken wing demonstrates a desire to win over customers. Staff are to be commended for their friendliness and helpfulness. Keep up the good work. So pleased to have a pub with such high standards so close to home.

Staff are lovely, drink choices are great (yummy cocktails), and their kids' menu has better options than most with a fun activity pack to keep them entertained.
Monday night is the steak special, and it reminds me how good pub counter meals used to be. The complimentary wings are freaking delicious.

Been here twice for lunch both times the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Great local pub in East Brisbane. Menu is just what you expect in a pub but the quality is better. Steak and schnitzel are great choices here, good size servings nicely presented. Service is great with friendly, helpful staff - no 'attitude' here. Drinks are well priced and there's plenty on offer.

What a surprise, I have been twice now for lunch. Food is great and ambience is very pleasant.

I couldn't complain about anything. The food was great, the service was lovely, the drinks were cold and the menu had all the pub favorites plus. They also had cold sav blanc on tap.

The new management are doing a great job here. Just had a wonderful lunch and was even offered some complimentary chicken wings while we waited. They were delicious! And they finally have Great Northern Original on tap! Fantastic!

My friends and I have visited Lord Stanley on a number of occassions and have always thought it had great potential. First visit since new owners and was very happy with quality of food, price and staff friendliness. Keep up the good work.

Friendly staff especially bar staff, food was good reasonably quick.

What happened to good old fashion ordering from a menu instead of a b.s. App. The waiters had to apologise 4 times in 4 occasions due to the system. Also, in order to get half price drinks and meals. I had to use the app to get the discount.
It also forced you to give banking and marketing details. I Don't recommend it for that reason.food was average.staff ok.but they also seemed frustrated too with the system.i guess they will be soon out of a job.

Got a steak sandwich on Uber Eats, was thinking “yeah it’ll be okay, nothing special, standard”. Well, wasn’t I wrong! This is the best steak sandwich I have ever eaten. Travelled well, perfect temperature, incredible taste! Very impressed.
Even my housemate thought this!

The Lord Stanley always has great, competitively priced pub meals, the staff are very friendly and personable. Love coming here with the family for lunch or dinner

Great service above and beyond the usual pub-fare. Menu is standard but the quality of the food is good.

We’ll be back next year! This pub knows how’s to our on an event. The food was exceptional- more oysters than we cared to eat and every single one was magnificent. Arancini, prawns, chicken … I could go on. Only thing I ask is showcase Australian wines - ours are so much better than NZ. Service? As always with this pub is magnificent but they have a bee manager and he’s excited to make this pub the best in Woolloongabba. He’s not far off!

“House policy” required id for lunch in a Tuesday. Staff rude, prices high and waited over 1 hour for lunch. Ended up late back to work. Would not recommend.

Great pub. Does what it says on the tin.
Plenty of screens showing various events.
Pool tables (2).
Outdoor area and separate smoking area elsewhere at the venue. Pokies etc.

Gluten free beer behind the bar (only Hahn ultracrisp but it's there!).

The bar staff, the wait staff and the chef were all incredibly friendly. They are all very good at their job. The food was great. The drinks were great. I could not have had a better experience.
