Looksmart Alterations

2 out of the 3 suits I have had dry cleaned here have come back unclean, with stains still very visible. No communication from staff as to whether your clothes are actually clean when they return them to you. Would not recommend for dry cleaning, honestly a top loader would probably be better.

The team altered my cosplay to perfection at a very reasonable price! Communication was excellent and I'll definitely be a returning customer.

4 times to get jacket sleeves on 2 suits altered cost a fortune and wrecked the sleeve linings. Had to take to a real tailor to repair both jackets. Avoid like the plague

Had a dress tailored and it came back in a week absolutely perfect. Really well sewn, can’t even tell which part the work was done on. The tailors are lovely people

Do not recommend their services! I was told the two set of curtains I left with them were going to be ready in two weeks, I called them one day in advance to confirm that they were going to be ready, they said yes and even confirmed from what time; at pick up and to my surprise they weren’t. The worst part is that I lost my car to the floods hence rented a car just so I could pick them up.
I took me over one hour to try explaining the people working that day what was supposed to be done. They had no clue whatsoever, the store is apparently under no management and the regional manager wasn’t picking up the phone. I get told to be back the next day that they would be ready. I get there the next day (yes, I had to pay an extra day on the car I was renting out of my pocket) just to be told that they weren’t ready yet.
I come back later that day and the job had been done in such a rush that my expensive curtains were altered to different sizes! One of them has only been cut! Even the lady working at the store couldn’t believe it. I said I wanted my money back and was told only the manager could issue a refund (but there’s no manager?). I got in touch with their HQ prior to contacting an ombudsman along with ACCC but haven’t heard back yet. Shockingly unprofessional! Make yourself a favour and go somewhere else!

Naomi was professional and efficient and provided great customer service and mending. A delight to do business with.

My sons formal high school shorts were way too baggy and also too long so I brought them here. They did a good job and I will use this place again when needed.

Very friendly staff and great service. Had 3 long sleeved shirts I wanted to make into short sleeves. Very fast turnaround Very good price.

Absolutely gorgeous staff! Everyone who assisted me at this business was warm and understanding and simply the best.
I had three heavy denim coats dry cleaned and one altered, and it fits like a dream!
If you need alterations or cleaning, can't recommend this team enough. I'll be back again!

Amazing service, very professional and helpful! I had a zipper emergency with my wedding dress, on the eve of my own wedding. Looksmart Alterations changed the zipper the same day for me, without even charging me for express services. Very helpful and friendly, I cannot recommend them more! Thank you so much!

Wonderful service here this morning. I asked for a quote for a very small fix on a pair of pants and rather than quoting me, they fixed the issue for free within seconds! It makes me think they are an honest business who provide value for money! Thankyou!

The wonderful ladies at Looksmart Alterations were able to fit in my wedding dress with very short notice. They had absolutely lovely customer service, fantastic communication, and did a great job on my dress alterations. I will certainly come back for all my future alterations. Thank you so much!

DINA - absolutely love her work! Super fast and very friendly. I have my sisters wedding this Saturday 15.08 and she altered and added a skirt into my dress in less than four hours! Definitely My go to.

Looksmart Indooroopilly is great. I’ve tried various clothing alteration places around the area and in the city but this place does consistently good quality work and is a pleasure to deal with. My most recent job was to have the sleeves raised on a down jacket – an intricate task with all those feathers. The ever-lovely Dina did the job promptly and with such a smile. Go no further, this place is reliable and good.

Dina was excellent and a pleasure to deal with and had a great smile. Dina did a great job on my leather jacket. I rang around a number of places and most said they could not do it. If they could do it did they were really expensive and would take many weeks. Dina gave me lots of her time and advice and the outcome was just what I wanted and it took less than one week.

Went to get my formal dress altered, Dina was recommended to me. SHE WAS AMAZING! She was very nice and communication was great. She gave an estimated time as to when it would be finished (VERY QUICK) and you cant even tell it has been altered. I didn't know exactly what i wanted it to look like and she recommended some ideas and talked me through what would happened with the dress.
