Longboards Laidback Eatery & Bar reviews
72 Had the calamari, buffalo wings and cauliflower shared bites.
10/10 recc the buffalo wings
Cocktails and mocktails were really good as well. Definitely recc the margarita, which hit the spot on a hot Sunday arvo.
Definitely look out for the specials.
Happy hour is from 3-5pm.
They are dog friendly.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Only thing is the restaurant is semi-outdoors and therefore a little hot despite the fans. Also no dedicated parking here.
Really nice burgers and service. Chillax restaurant that deserves a mention. Support the live singer too!
Terrible, dry, overcooked, pre-heated wings. Tables and menus weren’t wiped down. Also, the lady who showed us to our table was miserable, no smile, no niceties. Shame, was looking forward to the experience and it was a bit of a let down.
It was quiet on a Monday early evening, we just missed happy hour. The food was everything you could ask for, generous, tasty and down to earth. The staff were great, attentive yet not bothersome, friendly and polite. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Great food choice. Fabulous beachside atmosphere for a relaxing time. Staff very busy due to holiday crowd. Patrons need to chill.
Popped in for lunch and queued for 10 mins … asked the guy at the bar if we should sit down as there was heaps of empty tables and seemed like they were ignoring people coming in… I was treated pretty rude when I asked
Burgers were decent, however the buns were a bit stale
Good food and service. Overlooking the pool for the nearby Q1 Gold Coast. Not great, but definately decent for the price.
Wont be coming back. Rude staff and slow service.over 1hr wait for 3 burgers and were cold when we got them. No apologies or refund.
We ate the shared salt n pepper calamari so fast didn't get a pic. It was tender and delicious! The burgers were dry and average. Drinks were dumped at the end of our table with no interaction from staff. Our table was wet with some crumbs on it when we arrived. Waitress replaced cuttlery and napkins and neglected to wipe the table. The atmosphere was good. We all called out encouragement to a man attempting to eat the Phat Burger. We are locals who won't be back.
The food is great, the location is great, and the atmosphere is great. Had a good lunch with family, and I would return.
This burger bar is part of the Q1 resort, although you could hardly tell from the outside. The vibe is relaxed and perfect for families. There are covered booth seats and also outdoor-with-umbrella cover seatings that sit right next to the swimming pool. Unfortunately only hotel guests are allowed to use the pool service. Burgers are generous in size for the price you are paying but lacking something that pushes it to be special. Tender bites that come in the poutine are great and the gravy sauce although a little salty works well binding all the ingredients together.

Instead of promoting chicken wings change it to chicken DRUMSTICKS. I spent my hard EARNED MONEY on chicken wings and instead I got 15 or 16 drumsticks and only 1 wing. Raise your AUSTRALIAN STANDARD.
Very poor food and service. The burgers are terrible. Manager couldn't stop touch his face and then proceeded to touch food and glasses. This is disgusting behavior from a manager. Staff were more interested in standing around and playing on there phones. Will never come back here.
Dined in Thursday night, brilliant atmosphere and service! Food came out quickly and was delicious, will definitely be visiting again!
Enjoyed this venue so much! Came last night on a Thursday and the vibe was on point. Live music, good veg burger for me, stone and wood and all was reasonably priced. I was served by Mike and Adam I think their names were, good laugh them boys! See ya again soon.
The staff member who 'cannot do anything' about my meal and abruptly walked away should seriously reconsider her job here. On top of that, to 'throw away' my BABIES water bottle after we had forgotten it there is the lowest of all lows. Honestly, how do you ever look at yourself in the mirror?
As for the manager, I would strongly suggest looking at your cameras on Sat, 29/10/2022 at approx. 2: 30pm, first table on the left when you enter, for when the table was cleared and where this water bottle went - should you even care about your customers and customer service.
Thursdays cheap burger drinks day. Biggest burgers ever good quality and good service worth a look
One of the best burgers you can get at Surfers Paradise. We tried their Chicken Burger and fish&chips and they both were delicious.
The vibe was also quite amazing!
Staff are very nice, however the food is just awful, good selection of drinks and reasonable price, ok environment to sit, family friendly, can't get over how bad the food was, 8 in our group, nobody liked what the had, sorry.
Nice burger. There are daily specials, reasonable price at $13/burger. The catch is sides like fries is not included.
