Logan West Community Centre reviews
14The hall is a good size to accommodate about a 100 people. The outdoors surrounding the hall is beautiful. Lots of green area for kids to play. Good number of car parkings available on the premises.
It's a nice place for gatherings with plenty of parking and wide open space.
Good to consider for gathering of 200 to 300 people.
I'm not a member but very disappointing when people with disabilities are treated with no respect under certain circumstances
Exciting times doing a drive in PCR test. Staff doing the testing were nice and polite. Hopefully test results back for my daughter quickly.
Went there for covid test. Only draw back was that result took more than 60 hours to arrive. I believe because of the huge number of covid test being done during start of the year.
Good place and friendly staffs. But don’t drink too much water before Covid test. Long time queue and no toilet.
Went here for COVID-19 testing. Well organised traffic controllers and waiting times were short since we got there early (1.5hr before opening. We were the 17th car in line.) They said the results will come in 24-72 hours. It actually took around around 60hrs to get the result.
One drawback is that the health care workers are manually entering your details after looking at your driving license, Medicare and asking various questions. This process takes at least 5-10mins each person. Various other testing facilities in Brisbane have online forms that you can fill yourself while waiting in line; which makes the process faster and easier and less prone to manual entry errors.
We had 5 people in our car and it took more than half an hour to take our details down.
We had to end up calling QLD Pathology and checking about the result and they let us know that our mobile numbers weren't properly recorded for SMS purposes.
Was there for covid testing on 28th December. We reached around 5: 45 and was the 18th car in line. I guess if you can reach by 5, you will be the first one in line. They start the testing around 7: 30. No booking needed, just drive through.
Only drawback is the manual data collection. So they direct you to each desk and the nurse at the desk takes your licence and Medicare to fill in details. This takes almost 10 minutes for one person.
Very time consuming and less efficient.
We have been told to wait for atleast 24 hours for the results.
Was there for covid 19 testing. Took over 2 hours, but was a good experience, nice staff and quick results via sms. All negative.
Recently refurbished and fantastic staff make this a pleasant, open venue. Nice stage for small events and a cosy auditorium make it a great place for small events.
This community centre has a gazebo with a water fall and I believe is a flower sculpture the hard part was no footpath to get inside.
Great place for event hire. We attended a wedding and it was well suited for pictures and the hall was quite good.
This place is okay for have the functions and making some regular activities for organisations and clubs. There is big hall can be sit perhaps several hundreds of persons in their. Also, there is the garden area outside behind the hall and if you go next to the 'Wineglass' then there is the japanese gardens also. But on the reservour their is a big radiation. Toilet facilities are not the best.
Wheelchair accessible entrance, but no disabled toilets. Every time I have to go to this community centre for my child's dance concert I have to hope that neither my child or myself need to go to the toilet, as it would end in disaster. Pretty disappointed that wheelchair users aren't considered as part of the community enough for there to be appropriate facilities for us to use.
